Hi All I did some searching online today to find out more about the Bonnaroo Street Team. I am hoping to get some feedback on my understanding of how it works: 1. I join the AC Entertainment Fancorps 2. I earn points by completing various assigned poster routes/social media assignments 3. If I earn 15,000 points I am eligible to get a free Bonnaroo ticket
Based on any of your respective past experiences is this the way the basic process works? I appreciate any light that can be shed on this issue. Thanks!

Yep, that's it. You will post and retweet on fbook/twitter. You can also post fliers around town for a lot more points. There is a forum on the Fancorps website that can answer all your questions.
There is a deadline to achieve and purchase your ticket with your accumulated points. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was a minimum of two weeks prior to the festival.
Yeah, it was around the end of May last year (like the 19th or 20th I think)
Anyways, I did it last year and got my ticket a couple days before I left, process was pretty smooth. Doing it again this year, already 2/3rd of the way to my ticket (assuming they dont raise the price this year )
Thanks for the heads up. I checked it out and joined too. So to get points for the poster routes, do I just watch the order page and when it pops up as an available item I try to "order" it. Or is there a route page? Thanks again for the info!
No poster runs here and it'll be about a year and a half to get my tix. Sign up for other fests like Forecastle teams as well and you can earn points from them.
As I've had my ticket taken care of (thanks to my 'Roo Angels) I'm lookin' to spread my good fortune on. I've been workin' on a street team ticket since last year (hooked a friend up last year), and now I'm lookin' to do the same again! One of my best buddies has been havin' a rough time with his job and thus his money. Last year was his first return to The Farm since '08 and I was just so happy to have him back there. So I'm workin' to help him out now!
So, I got a Nashville route for Zed's Dead. I have never put up posters before. The order says it has to be put up in venues, restaurants or retail locations. This does not seem easy to me. What other venues would put up posters for another venue? I don't understand what restaurant would put posters up. Are there any? What retail locations will put these up? Not like there are many music shops anymore and I don't think Target will let me poster. How do I do this? Am I just blowing it out of proportion? Is it easier than I think? Just feel like I am a little over my head here because I didn't know it would be so specific and I don't know the area well enough to even tell you where 50 businesses are. Pretty sure I can get them to let me do some of Murfreesboro. That will make it easier. Sorry for all of the questions.

When I signed up for the street team I signed up for Bonnaroo, Forecastle, and Moogfest. Is there a way to sign up for additional festivals and venues? I know there were more offered, but I can't find a way to do this on the site.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

So, I got enough points for my ticket then found out my buddy wasn't able to go because of monetary limitations. I somehow got Evvan to give me 14,000 points in routes last week. Gave them to my buddy who posters almost for a living(hence the monetary situation), he finished them and we were good to go. Both going to Roo for free. Then the tickets go live today and they raised the price. Now I don't have enough points for our tickets. Got another route coming my way I just hope I can get it up, submitted and approved before they sell out. Kind of irritating, especially with finals about to start up that I still need to walk around campus putting posters up. Guess Roo for free is better than paying though.
If you're planning to use your points for tickets keep an eye on the stock. There are now 125 left. Don't freak out, just don't wait til the last minute.

Bump. I joined in February and I've been able to nab 18k points so far. Just try to be online when you get word of when a poster route is gonna be up for grabs, and it's not hard to get enough points to freeroo.
New orders for presale, etc helping me get there. Got the points for one free ticket this year, hoping to get enough for a 2nd
BTW depending on how much you need the points for poster runs you might want to make a weekend out of it. Wilmington never seems to go quickly but I know others are gone in seconds.

Doing several Bonnaroo poster runs last year (they have both Raleigh and Chapel Hill on there as markets, and I am in both cities rather frequently) and a couple Moogfest ones as well got me a Bonnaroo 2012 ticket and a Moogfest 2012 and Justice ticket this year. Honestly, I always slack on doing the FB/Twitter stuff, but the poster runs are worth sooooo many points I love FanCorps.
