If it helps with the decision at all, Bear in Heaven is in the TWA which is a seated auditorium, so if you are looking for a dancey dance time, the seats make it more difficult but not impossible.

I never saw it myself, but I was there when the guy on turntable was talking about it. It's someone who was in there every week, so I don't know if they would just make something up. I am just worried because Spaceman was there when the guy said it and didn't say anything about it. That usually spells trouble.

My favorite place for the dancy shows last year was TWC. Flying Lotus may have been the biggest dance party i was at last year and that was TWC. The seating does a good job spacing everyone out.

Actress cancelled his Decibel Fest show about a month ago due to visa issues, so this is a pretty legitimate concern. Mouse on Mars and Actress were in my top 5, I'll be a sad panda if he cancels too.
Just another reason I have a feeling that Im going to have to raise hell at the Justice show. I got the event reminder for Moog but not Justice even though ticketbastard insists my ticket is at will call. (after they inststed they mailed it to me then insisted that my moog ticket was good for the justice show too)

Literally just found out within the last 24 hours that I am going to be able to get off work this weekend so I'm coming to Moog! I know it's last minute, but if anyone has any lodging suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Asheville Brewing Company had already booked a big party so we changed locations to www.hannahflanaganspub.com/. it is close to the Orange Peel and has an outdoor area that seats 60. We should have plenty of room so if you are an already established member of infomoog/inforoo, meaning we all know secrets and have pictures of you in compromising positions, BE THERE! If folks don't have anything else going on right before Justice, they should all hit this up. My friend is one of the main people putting it on. It's a World Camp benefit to aid in the efforts to help the problems of poverty and HIV in Malawi, Africa. There's going to be a DJ, raffle, costume contest, and best of all, $3 pints of Pisgah Pale and Highland Gaelic. And where is it? The Asheville Music Hall, so come scope that place out pre-Moog...

I just called them and spoke to Joline and asked why my room was CANCELED! I told her I called a week ago and asked why the rates were different. Joline had called me last Friday and left a message explaining why, and I didnt call back because I just accepted the explanation. She said "My owner is Dr. Patel, I was just doing what he asked, which was to cancel it"
Who the fuck are these people?
She's suppose to call me back to confirm that I still have a room since I NEVER REQUESTED IT TO BE CANCELED!
I wasnt even rude or ugly when I called last week, I was very friendly and just inquired about the rate change.
They called me and left a voicemail that ended with "please call to confirm." I did and my room seems to be fine so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were cancelling rooms of anyone who doesn't call them back (which is BS..since there didn't seem to be indication that you should), but still...when dealing with the DTI from this point on it's probably a good idea to try to get the last word in.
Edit: Also wanted to add they added in "You know about the rates?"
