Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This topic started last year by cranelady, and there was a meetup on the farm last year; I couldn't find it, but my roo-mates did and enjoyed meeting everyone.
I have roo-friends of ALL ages! I didn't make the meetup last year...but met several over-40 Rooers at Brunch. If anyone starts a meetup this year I will try again to make it...otherwise you can find me at Tent only or at the Brunch.
Most of my crew will almost be 40 this year by under a few years. Basically a whole krew of 37 year olds! But we know where it will eventually lead all of us turning 37 this year!
1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman
I refuse to believe the age on my driver's license...lol. But you're right, it is good to have friends in our age group. I welcome meeting any and all. Just don't expect me to act my age...lol. My butt is wearing a tutu for the 1st time this year at age 52!
^^^Who's talked you into a tutu...lol. Good for you girl. We're over 40 and didn't make a meet up but from what I remember brunch was really fun. I didn't go to my first roo til I was 40 and this'll be the 5th so let's just remember to have FUN!
Forty? Hush your mouths...we don't use that F word on here!
Last year, wasn't the Over-40 Meetup around the same time as the Arcade Players Broo'ers Tent Meetup? Maybe this year we can space 'em out a little so more people can go to both? That's a whole lotta drinkin', but hey...we've had years of practice, right? We're PROS by now!
^ no, sweetie. Ahead of you, at least according to the DMV. My drivers license says 9/27/59. I think somebody lied. And I think there are a handful of us on here that are older.
The really NICE thing about being older is that we have seen and experienced some really cool stuff. I've probably forgotten more than I remember (lol), but from both a historical and a musical perspective, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I can say in a loud steady voice that I am the oldest person that will be at 'roo this year.
I'll be 52 on Halloween. PLEASE someone prove me wrong! ???
/go team Viagra
Relax kid, I'll be 61. Actually turned 60 at the farm a couple of years ago and I miss turning 62 there by a couple of days this year. Oh well, I guess Social Security pays for next year's tix.

Yep, like the Beatles on Ed Sullivan (ok, I was mighty little, but it spurred my musical interest...I still remember....
All those years of rock-n-roll.....we're still at it. It'll never die!
So, let's all plan on meeting, so we will know each other in 2013. Maybe piggy-back off the brunch.
Fawn: for 58, you're smoking. But those 46 years have taken their toll on your man.
SMart ( | ) !! Thanks for the laugh BP!!
PS.. my smokin hot 70 year old red headed mom keeps saying... I'd love to go see "ROO" for just one day. It sounds like Sooo much fun but i think that heat might slow me down a bit. I'd probably not make it past midnight.
