Just a note, Phi is the only one I have completely charted at this point and even then only through day 1. That's why I know his stats and patterns right now. I have reread every one of his day 1 posts. I am working on his first runoff and night 1 stats now. Also going to do 4 other people if / when I have time tonight who have seemed suspicious to me or to others in this game.
And if this seems obsessive, there is not much else to do when everyone else is sleeping in a hospital, and you need to be quiet.
Sheesh. Sorry for the lack of involvement so far, I've been crazy busy the past few days.
All im really coming up with is that Viking needs to cool it. You are basically painting a huge target on the back of your head.
I don't know if you are doing all of this because you are eager to play this game or because you (gasp) are mafia and totally hamming it up acting like a townie. I'm considering switching my vote to you. I don't have much to go on but as it stands I'm way more suspicious of you than surf. I'm going to hold off for now, though.
Everyone telling me to cool it, why? How many games have townies won by "cooling it" in round 1. You only get a mafia in the runoff half the time and almost never vote one off. I am admittedly excited to be playing but none of my posts have been emotional outbursts of "It's not me!".
I understand that I have a giant target on my head and know that I probably will not make it out of round 1. However, I am pretty comfortable in calling Phi mafia at this pointand I think I have another one pegged. I just need to reread something when I get home tonight. In previous games, townies have said that they are at a huge disadvantage
I don't see townies at a disadvantage. We have strength in numbers, and if my rabblerousing helps us peg mafia earlier, we maintain that numerical advantage. Plus it hides the inspector and let's them observe and deduce. But, we need to kill mafia because they will go after us as we get closer.
If you don't agree with my style, that's fine, but you cannot argue that we have more information now that we typically do heading into a runoff.
By the way, thank you for helping identify me as a townie in your last post Phi. If you could change your vote, I would appreciate it. But you probably won't because you are the one I believe to be Mafia
You're wrong. And so is he. All you two are doing (IF you are townies) is putting me in a position to have to make drastic moves and possibly vote out a possible townie out right without a runoff, and giving us no more information.
There is nothing wrong with a 4 or 5 person runoff as Lo g as the goal is to whittle it down to a second run off. In fact, it is better because the odds are greater that you have a mafia in the first run off and the.higher level of scrutiny leads to higher odds you catch one in the second runoff.
If you keep doing the same thing and keep losing, then it is time to try a new method.
Look. All I know is the four or five of you are kicking up a lot of dust. When I was mafia last time I just sat back and watched the townies fight. Don't let this happen again!
Viking the reason we don't really want more than 3in a runoff is bc the votes are too spread out.
I really don't think just voting someone off straight up is the answer.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
YES i Did miss the Nick change of vote - i just validated back to day one and that i the one missed vote. Give me two minoots to get the tally corrected.
