My sister is the marketing director of a smaller beverage company and she has contacted OSL about being a sponsor or vendor, so hopefully that works out. She said I can work my schedule around my favorite shows. I am sure it's a long shot, but it's nice to imagine!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

This is really beautiful to me. The first few names actually don't interest me a whole ton but so much stuff from Jack White down to Zola Jesus does. Maybe this will give me an excuse to finally start learning and appreciating Neil Young. I am picturing myself watching Beck and Regina Spektor in Golden Gate Park and loving the image. Sitting on hay bales watching smaller bands in the park? Yes please.
This is such a great festival and I feel even more excited since I've been to it and know how cool it is out there. I really can't emphasize enough how nice this festival is without even considering the lineup. It would be pretty awesome to do Lolla>OSL. I'm really thinking about doing a nice big road trip out to the west coast to do this and visit my sisters in Cali/Portland. I had pretty high expectations and they have been met. Damn.
For those who are familiar...do these tickets sell out quickly or at all? I'm probably moving to San Fran but its not 100% and i'd like to hold off on buying a ticket until my plans are more concrete...but I definitely want to go if i'm there.

Last year it was really close to the fest before they sold out, and I'm not entirely sure if they sold out every day since they were selling individual days and three day passes. I bought my pass like three days before the fest off someone on Facebook for $120 and had the tickets emailed in a PDF.
Let's also keep in mind that it seems there is a decent amount of crossover from one year to the next in regards to OSL and Roo. Perhaps that will give some of y'all hope for next year's Roo in regards to Neil Young and Jack White.
Sadly, I don't think Neil does much touring these days.
Crazy Horse has a new album coming out, so it's entirely possible given this show.
And when he does play, it's entirely possible he'll play something new he's come up with (can you say Greendale?) instead of your old favorites. Still, it's Neil.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

had tickets to see chili peppers for sat and sun, just put them up for sale on stubhub. if they sell, I'm OSL bound baby. if they don't, im gonna give the tickets away and try to work OSL again with the shuttle ppl.
"Thank you fans for showing your support for Outside Lands 2012! Ranger Dave wants to give everyone fair warning here on the ticket front... Buy them sooner than later to avoid missing your chance to attend!"
Wow even OSL is going to sell out??? Pretty crazy, i think they have a capacity of like 100,000

I went to this last year and enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't going to go this year due to wanting to try something else out but this lineup has reeled me in.
