If anyone wants a RooTu, my lil factory of free labor may be able to do it of requested by this weekend. I don't know if it will look as awesome as Zto's ....
Mayo - on the hand Tu's - do you still loop them of do you tie them? Looks awesome! I have a ton of leftover short pieces to make hair/hand Tu's.
I still loop them. I use the rolled tulle - which is already 6'' wide, right - so then I cut that into 1.5'' wide strips on the cutting mat. (so much easier to make measurements and stuff on that dang thing.) Then I cut them at 12'' long. When you loop them on 1/4'' elastic - the strips are tiny enough that they hold tight. really tight. by that same token, you can definitely tie them on because the knot will be super small.

Thanks M! Thinking I'll do that on the drive to TN. Much like you, the only thing in our Roo pile right now is three new cans of sunscreen and four packs of baby wipes. I need to haul ( | ) this weekend!

HA! NO. I think that was Fawn's point. I have ZERO in my Roopile. There's a new canopy in the trunk of my car. My tent is still in it's tupperware in the closet and not even rolled up yet. Clothes? pssh. Food? pfft. Booze? nah. All of my RooCamping supplies are properly packed away in their respective closets instead of taking up my living room floor like they're supposed to because that living room floor is riddled with tulle and glitter and RooTus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 85% done with my Rootu and going to take a little break (I stayed home from work today! cough. Cough.). It's super poofy which I do like. I am trying to decide if I want to keep going with what I have been doing, or if I want to spread it out to tame it just a tad...

PS For those of us who have made super poof tus, I am not sure how we will get close enough together to take pics! I think I take up 3 times as much room as normal!

We wanted to try to take a little of the load of Mayo for all she is doing for Roo and the Tu!!!
These are QSAROO Tu's. These are being gifted to Inforoosters that do not have a Tu and would like one. The cost is that you wear it to brunch. That's all there is to it.
Now If you would like a QsarooTu for brunch but know you will never wear it again, then please gift it to a random Roo'er over the weekend. I hope to have QSAROO cards with each one.
If you would like one of the Qsaroo Tu's below - post here - then PM me your address. I plan to get to the PO saturday morning with the first adoptees.
These are one size fits many -- the 36" elastic will be safety pinned so they can be skinnied or stretched. These easily stretch to 40". You can modify how you would like when received. The longer ones are noted that they can be shortened.

DO No Harm! - Red and black, knee length - Popsical Sarah - shortened just a tad - can still be shorter if you want, and added shiny white. Did not glue the bow at all - not sure if you want the bow or not. If you dont like the added whiote it can be easily removed. Going to whip up some hand tu's tomorrow to match than get it in the mail.

As far as closing the elastic, has anyone tried using velcro?
