Hi everyone!!! So it's been discussed in several threads, and on various FB posts, that ALL who come to brunch should be decked out in their best TuTus, a.k.a. RooTus, or for the men-folk, DudeTus!!! Scrog has mentioned that several dudes in the past have rocked the DudeTus at other Festivals, and of course, there are several ladies in the GFT who sport TuTus at every Roo, and at various other events throughout the year as well. I feel that the time has come for Inforoo to represent the RooTu at Bonnaroo in droves. Let the year of 2012, be known as the year of the RooTu! Solidarity, Brothers!!! ;D
I have an Etsy shop, located at www.etsy.com/shop/CraftMayo with custom RooTu/DudeTu listings, so EVERYONE at brunch can represent, even if you aren't crafty!
Of course, any "pre-orders" can be mentioned here, color requests, and any suggestions as well.

A RooTorial would be great for those of us who would like to tackle making our own RooTu or DudeRooTu. There is no reason you should be spending the next two months making 30 RooTus, unless you want to. Either way, Thank you Mayo for doing this!

Bisontrax - A great tutu is generally all tulle - but there are different kinds of tulle. there's shiny tulle, matte tulle, netted tulle... the netted stuff works great for giving a tutu FLUFF. but I can get almost any color you want. I can add ribbons. I can add bows - solid or patterned. Really, give me your idea, and I can see what I can make happen!! I think as I make them and post pics, you can get a better idea of how ENDLESS the options are.
Scrog - You are TOO kind ;D Today my plan is to make one RooTu, get it photog'ed and get it up on the Etsy shop so peeps can see what they're getting. I will see about finding a tutorial somewhere online and if I can't find a really really good explanatory one, I'll make one for y'all. It really is simple. ....also, I think that the plastic grocery bags is a fantastic idea! I dont know how "breathable" all that plastic will be, but it certainly is great for the recycling/environment angle. ha!!!

Breath-ability is something I have thought of, gonna see how is turns out and go from there. If need be, I could put a small battery operated fan in the rear. That would keep things cool.
