Waffle... pancake... crepe... in the end, they all turn out pretty shitty.

I'm sorry Dave, but no matter how much I might suck I speak the truth. The human body just works that way. You could throw it all up if you wanted, but that's no way to live.
I used to think I liked pancakes and waffles equally. Last weekend that all changed when I had delicious spicy fried chicken served on top of a waffle with powdered sugar and maple syrup. Mind blown. I enjoyed the leftovers for 3 days. I love waffles. Waffles for the win!

I honestly like them both and French toast! just depends on my mood for the day or where I am getting them from. I can't imagine choosing. they are all my babies and I love them all!!!

I noticed that Sharon Jones (of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings) was doing a Reddit AMA and there weren't a ton of questions at the start of it. So I posted two at once....one lame one about the music industry and buying albums .vs. buying singles. She didn't answer that one.
The second question was whether she preferred Pancakes or Waffles. This one she answered:

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
My initial vote was for Waffles, but in light of the recent kitten death epidemic, my vote has now changed to Pancakes.
The poor little kittens were only part of it though. After some deep reflection, I saw the error of my ways. At the heart of the matter, pancakes and waffles are essentially the same before they're cooked.
So how to separate the two? Extra ingredients in the two. While a plain pancake or waffle can be delicious, the real money is when you add things such as bananas and pecans, chocolate chips, any type of fruit, etc.
This is where pancakes excel in my opinion. When putting these ingredients into a waffle iron, they often become smooshed and possibly burned if they're exposed to the direct griddle. Pancakes lovingly embrace the ingredients your heart desires. They are the perfect transport medium to your stomach.
Someone might bring up the fact that the craters in waffles offer the perfect receptacle for your toppings. That person would be wrong. It's a known fact that the extra ingredients are better when cooked into the breakfast treat, as opposed to simply being placed on top last minute, as if you just remembered you didn't want a plain waffle.
So that my friends, is why I changed my vote and am now proudly part of Team Pancake.
Whoever posted this on the facebook page made me want to seriously reconsider my vote. Whoever you are, come claim the credit for this!!!! I don't know most people's real life names and faces....
although, technically this would be a vote for cinnamon rolls, not waffles.

I can't remember either... We only have 11 friends in common so I figured it had to be one of them, but I stalked all of their FB pages through the past week and it's not on any of theirs.
