Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If you have not seen the Inforoo brunch thread in the last few days... I am now brining pancakes. Will cook them fresh off the griddle Friday morning and walk them over to the brunch. Game on waffles. Game on.
I have seen it. May I suggest funfetti pancakes?
Love it! Maybe confetti in the batter? Anything placed on top of said pancakes prior to the walk is going to be a melted mess from the heat outside as well as the heat inside the foil pan I will use to keep them warm. Funfetti icing can always be added at the brunch to avoid such a disaster.

Personally, I am a "put it in the batter guy" (if you couldnt tell from prior posts here). I dont even put much if any syrup on top. I find that if I put my ingredients in the batter and do not put syrup on, I can easily eat the pancakes with my hands and there is no need to fiddle with such newfangled devices like knives and forks. The last thing I want to do is delay the amount of time between the pancake coming off the griddle and entering my mouth.

But can you get syrup in the batter of the pancake?

No need in most cases. Just a little melted butter on top and you're good to go! Unless you're dealing with some high grade pure Maple syrup straight from Boner that is.

Why yes, yes I can. You could mix pure maple syrup (no fake table syrup substitute) in the batter or could go for a McGriddle effect by putting droplets of syrup on the pancake as it is cooking. Im sure thats not how McDonalds does it though.
I prefer my maple syrup in it's pure, antural state, but sure, if you want to add eggs, baking powder, flower and milk (or water) to your maple syrup, go nuts. The pancake is but just the vessel that carries the syrup to your taste buds. It might as well be a spoon for all I care.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Prepare your sweet tooth for the Wonut, a deep-fried waffle covered in sprinkles and other goodies, served donut-style. The catch is, you'll have to travel to Chicago to get it.

I am all #teampancake but damn.
While your heart may belong to pancakes it is nice to see that you can admit when waffles have a good idea. For that I applaud you, good sir.

Where am I from? Any food item instantly becomes more attractive to me when you add "deep-fried".
