This has come up a couple of times in the webcam chat. It was a much more hotly debated question than I thought it would have been, so we're bringing the debate to a grander stage. I even added crepes for people who don't fully embrace Ammurca *cough*Bonzai*cough*.
I am honored that you added crepes to the poll! Though, I am not anti- Amuuuuurican! II just don't like sweet, carby dishes in general! And if you had one of those crepes sallees from the street guys... oh man oh man... your world would be changed.
(PS. I hate not having internet at home! I am missing so much!)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I have some wonderful pancakes at Cracker Barrel today. Didn't think to photograph them. They were whole grain with crasins, almonds, and granola in the mix. NOM.
By the way (NOT "BTW" because those are my initials), if Maynard didn't offer Crepes as a choice, my answer would be pancakes. You can't do this with waffles:

Let's be honest, they're all inferior to breakfasts pizza and breakfast burritos.
We all know that these foods don't "last".
Pancakes and waffles really have the ability to soak up all the toxins consumed the previous night. Even those you may not remember at all. They are both medicinal but the best-made pancakes beat the best-made waffles hands down.
Belgian waffles are so quacking good. They are not for breakfast though, more like dessert. Also nothing like what I thought. Not huge and puffy at all, sticky, crispy, sweet. I dream of them.
I'll bet Manders had never had a pancake. His description of biscuits and gravy was classic.

When I showed Dave these he said, "Flappy? That's a waffle! Why are you making the waffle badassed?" He had the most hurt look in his eyes. I still love pancakes more but liked the waffle picture.
Abra, those pancakes on bacon were my very first Pinterest. VERY FIRST. ...and yet I still have not made them yet. AFTER roo, and goal weight are achieved - I will have a bacon pancake party. PARTAAAY!!!
