I don't even understand how anyone can choose! Both are delicious and can be covered in butter and maple syrup or fruit.
Yeah but pancakes get all soft after a few minutes an turn into maple flavored mush. Waffles have starting power.
Also, you can make delicious ice cream sandwiches from waffles but not really from pancakes.
There's a restaurant that I frequent, for hangover breakfast, that has a Breakfast Club sandwich. It uses pancakes as the bread and is filled with eggs (however you want em), bacon or sausage, and cheese. Maple syrup on the side for dipping.

I don't eat things with processed sugar anymore, can I still enjoy pancakes or waffles at all? I last had a pancake a year and a half ago, felt like I was going to have a heart attack.
I ate a cannoli pancake today and I will tell you... You can't go wrong with that. I still won't choose between waffles and pancakes though. #allbreakfastfoods

I don't eat waffles. I think they are terrible. In fact one of the most akward experineces of my life was about a year ago at a chicken & waffles place. That said I don't think I could turn down a lamb waffle.

WTF? Are you shittin' me?! I can't read that tiny photo on my phone...but a lamb waffle or was it like lamb and waffle (like chicken and waffles)? Either way that sounds dank as fuck.
