We don't have WH in California, but my husband and I are going to some spring training games in Arizona soon... I'd be lying if I said going to WH wasn't a pretty high priority while we are there! I've never had their pecan waffle, but you've inspired me to remedy that ASAP.

Yessss. I always go with a patty melt, so I'm glad to hear the pecan waffle will make a good addition.

Thanks to smellycat for presenting evidence on snapchat that Trump is #teamwaffle. I hope all you motherfuckers who voted for waffles are reevaluating your life choices.

I am so repulsed.
I need to make a formal motion to add french toast into the running.

America's greatest family-centric show PROVES pancakes are basically thin, shitty, wanna-be bricks that numb-nuts cover in delicious syrup (don't you dare waste amazin' maple syrup on these travesties of taste) to stuff down your gullets as soon as possible.
Waffles are warm, luscious, and soft in the right places. They have syrup/jam holders built in, they have substance and character.
"syrup" Pancakes/crepes with whipped cream and strawberries or other things of the sort are unbeaten.
Strop is actually the superior form of Syrup in my mind. I have to buy it online since you can't get it on this side of the pond. Also, dutch style pancakes are the only thing that beats waffles in my mind, but that's a different animal.
I definitely prefer crepes, but they are very similar to pancakes in terms of what you put on them. Whereas waffles are a commie food.
they aren't similar in what you put on them at all?
How aren't they? I'm against the idea of syrup in general (although I do know people who put them on crepes), but nutella, whipped cream, any kind of berries, bananas, ice cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter, etc. all go on both.
