Unless someone changes their vote, I am ok with leaving my vote null because of where we are. I'm not voting someone to die, I am not voting myself, and I am not pushing a 3 person runoff.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I went from a busy end of the work week to yard work today to unexpectadly going to Al's place with Sarah and Jade (tacobandit) to get halfway between schnockered and sheit-canned - yes if youre following loging and crap I havent logged in since Thursday evening. I have read through and it wasn't my intention to get LD in the runoff, but how the heck did you forget you are playing dude, I am still caught between possible excuse for not posting to actually forgot, which I find hard to believe. What seems most suspicious to me right now is Bonnie's response when Bacon switched off of me. It could be oversuspicion due to Bacons voting for me to voting with me, but I don't like it, I feel like I could be getting setup for later, or I could be paranoid and hammered. I will re-read this stuff tomorrow, but wanted to go ahead and state my opinion. For now . .
And I agree about SFA and whether or not he knew what he was doing. That is why I was watching for his move
I really don't think it was much of a shock that I was going to vote for Viking. I honestly wasn't thinking about the deadline what so ever. I had spent a good bit of the evening reading over the past games Viking had mentioned trying to make some stupid points agains't me. He was wrong both times. Which I don't know if it means he was trying to make me look bad or if he actually is that bad at keeping his "charting" or whatever correct.
And I'd posted sevearl times during the day. It was clear I had been on. If I really had some secret plan, as Viking suggested then I would have stayed silent and claimed it was because I was at work or whatever. If I was going to make a move that I would never make as mafia because I'm not that bad of a player. I would defo wouldn't have posted in the thread several times during that day.
If I have to I can look over old games and show you guys this isn't the first time I've voted at the end of a runoff with no real motive. Just voting the way I think I should without thinking about the deadline. Remember, when you and Bek were mafia and I voted for her at the last minute because I had a change of heart? You had to null your vote and delay the game. And as I told Bacon I voted at the closing of the first round last game against EAP. That wasn't with a hidden motive either. When the games going on for days i tend to just forget about deadlines and vote the way I think I should vote when I've caught up rereading, etc. And I'm sure there are other examples.
Just like there are plenty examples of my complaning about not liking three person runoffs. If I was mafia I would never purposefully do something like this. To many people know my stance on this and I would know it would look way to shady anyway. Ask Bonnie, as I helped vote her off when we were mafia togeather. I'm not going to stick my neck out for other mafia like that. It was clearly a mistake.

So I do see what you are saying, that you have forgotten in the past, but note that in that game I nulled my vote to try to extend the run-off time hoping to save my Mafia partner who was about to get voted off... So the last minute vote can also be used by Mafia. It can also be another point of distraction that Mafia uses to set up a Townie as suspicious.
Looking back on games, I do see that you have done this before, and you were a Townie.

I do remember that game. I think I took advantage of you late vote to try to make you look suspicious.
I think every game since then someone has tried to say the two of us were mafia togeather Happens every time. Not that person is always guilty but it always happens.
I think it's sort of insulting that anyone could think we could be mafia together this game and play the way we are playing. We would be the stupidest mafia pair ever.
Viking, if you are a townies, you are going to owe one of and I would bet both of us an apology at the end of this game. But I'm not really surprised you are deadset on me being mafia. You've called me mafia in the first round in your first 3 games and have been wrong. I'm pretty use to it by now. I guess you'll learn when the townies lose because of your recklessness and don't worry. Keep playing this way and that day will come.
hmm I don't know. LD's reason for voting for me this time is so strange, it didn't even make sense. It find it so odd. Not the vote itself, I realize that it will likely be me or Viking, I just think the reason was so off the wall, it doesn't sit right with me at all.
You forgot the fact I'm completely insane?
Dude, please don't start messing around and do anything crazy. I put a lot of time into being inspector and you messed it all up for no reason. I'm not mad about it at all. I'm just letting you know that it's incredible frustrating to put time into a game only to have it all wasted because someone thought it would be "I don't know" to mess it all up like you did.
Vote however you want. Just please don't purposefully mess the game up. Also, you realize acting crazy could get you voted off, right? Remember when Mike and I were Mafia? We kept you around and counted on you fucking yourself over, which you did. EVEN thought you pointed out who all three mafia were in the third round and could have actually helped the townies win.
Like Mike told you at the end of that game. The person in that third round is who the townies need you to be.

I said this last game when I got voted off, but I'll say it again for those who weren't playing with us... The number one thing I learned is that sticking your neck out for people comes back to bite you in the ass. Therefore, I'm just gonna stay put, and keep watching the voting patterns until next round.
I was reading through and noticed this. Yes, it can come back to bite you in the ass but it has to be done if you have any conviction about things going the wrong way.
Remember you and I both got labeled suspicious for sticking up for EAP. The inspector asked about me and found me innocent. That narrowed down the feild. That's why I had you higher on my suspect list (because of the runoff vote), which is always going to have flaws and should be taken with a grain of salt. It was because the inspector had came out and you had voted the wrong way. Which made you suspect but there was nothing wrong with that. We both were wrong to begin with but it is a game and you have to vote.
I tend to stick up for people and second guess things. Which makes me look suspcious at times. At least in the early rounds.
I think sometimes we forget about the inspector and forget that we should (without saying it in the thread) push towards the runoff that we to be the most productve. That way it helps the inspector keep hidden and gives them more pattens to go off as the game goes on.
What I meant by "suspect list" was the breakdown of votes last game. Which pointed towards players protecting EAP.
Which I was one of earlier in the game even if I switched votes later for the wrong reason at the time. I ended up being right and then the inspector came out. Before RDK cleared me I was just as suspect as you CMP, I was going of the known facts.
My overall point is don't hold back. Say what you feel. We need more players posting. I'm tired of hearing from LLL, Bacon and Viking. It would be nice to hear more from everyone else.
Also, I defend people all the time in past games. I even do it's when I've been mafia. I've only been voted off once in all the games I've played. Don't be afraid to say what you think CMP.

??/ I just went back and reviewed the game to figure out what you were talking about because I had no recollection. I didn't even respond to that?? He nulled his vote during the craziness that I had to catch up on and I never even commented on his nulling- which I happened to agree with. Can you explain further about what you are talking about?

I agree with that. I think much faster than I speak and I always catch little mistakes after I post. Editing is fine as long as your not changing what the post says. I've done it multiple times both this and last game.
I would be OK with Bonzai and LLL is a run-off, I still want a third. I kind of feel like if WVL is mafia he probably is the stupidest mafia every so I would be OK with leaving him out for this round, but I need to keep him on the radar. I still want one more quite person in. I think there are 2 mafia hiding in the quiet people.
I am going to go ahead and vote now because I am now no longer sure I will be able to get back in time before voting closes (fuck school and work). I don't have any grand theory on this vote, but I think it could be useful later on.
Baconus66>>>LD
Wait.. what? I can get on board with the LD decision as he has been all over Inforoo all day, but yet has only posted in this thread twice in total (and not at all today?), but where did my name come from??
I may be misreading it, but to me, the "I can get on board with the LD decesion" seems weird. It's the first round and we dont have much to go on, but when I didn't intend for LD to be in the runoff, Bacon switches from voting against me to voting with me and you "get on board" with that vote, it is something I am going to explore a little bit. It could be a setup on me or you and/or Bacon taking advantage of distancing yourself from LD or it could be nothing at all. I am comfortable with my vote for now, but am not set on it.

I am back in Chicago after the drive of death through tornados and hail. Very burned out right now. Going to grab a drink, watch some of coachella, and start rereading the thread. Should post sometime tonight.

This is the post I was referring to.

That is why I was confused. So you meant when he voted LD? Slightly different! I was on board with LD because he didn't post for like 36 hours without explanation (at the time). I feel like that is enough explanation in itself. I am not saying he is mafia, but that is pretty odd. If you're wanting to throw a quiet player into the run off in round one, I think that is a good (enough) reason.

I am a little concerned that LLL or Bonzai are going to try to pull a fast one right before noon tomorrow. EAP can I submit a contingent vote? Like if LLL changes to WVL or Bonzai to LLL right before close that my vote will automatically go to the other to force the run-off? Would that be possible?

I'd be more concerned with how quit the game has been today. Not sure if it points to the mafia being fine with the potential runoff or if everyone is waiting for Viking's return.

I'm waiting for some dialogue from quiet players. I hate that no one is participating. There has actually been some productive dialogue over the weekend instead of the BS that was going on earlier. I'm not sure where to take this. I don't want to vote for Viking if no one else is going to change their vote because that could mean him being clean off. I don't like that kind of poop. I also don't really want a 3 person run-off. So doing a reciprocal vote for LD isn't favorable either.
I'm not going to change my vote unless someone else changes their vote and causes someone to be in the lead.

why not? it's the closest thing that I get to a day off, ever. I'm pretty sure that in my 20 years of working, I've probably put in more hours officially at work than most people put in in their whole lives. I'm not even counting the paperwork at home I do. Ugh.
