As to the game. I'm not really sure what to say. It's still early for me to really make any sense out of anything. At first I was thinking one of the more talkative players might be trying to lead the game. Now I'm leaning more towards it might be townies banging their heads against the wall while the mafia sit back and watch.
1 - She ran up the count after I pointed out she was running up the count. It is now so far out of whack as to be useless. Regarding editing, I hate editors, even just for grammar. I hate leaving spelling errors and grammar errors in my posts, but after reading previous games, even though it is only my 3rd game, I know this is a no no move. And the fun smoke screen was a lot of fun, but you have to admit that it makes it easier to hide in. After joking around, she could come out and say she is just having fun, just like Mike D just did. I am all for fun in the mafia thread as evident of my participation in that, but even then, it concerned me that it was going to come back and haunt me later.
2 - CSTNZ both praised you and called you a valuable townie resource. I know since he was using it against me, and I called him on it. I can go quote it if you want, but I am researched out after this afternoon and just want to go to chat. However, I will look it up if you need me to.
3 - I just apologized for it in my last post, but I get very frustrated that people don't look at the facts, and just look to you or Bacon to drive the game. If I had my way, everyone would be just as active and research as much as I do, but everyone is different and plays differently. Again, sorry if I was over the top.
4 - The point was, trust no one. I learned that the hard way with Mike D in game 46. I didn't mean it to be too literal. I am not 100% she is mafia. I have said many times in the last 3 games that the only people who can be 100% sure are the mafia and the inspector with the name they have as mafia. But as I have said before in previous games, and I am saying again now, I am very comfortable with my vote and think LLL is more likely to be mafia at this point. Again, I could be wrong, but the facts point to this being the case.

This is great news! Our neighbor's cat did not make it. We offered to take it to the vet for them or shoot it full of drugs (another neighbor is a doc) and they told me no, just leave it in the house. It was really sad. By the time they got home, it was dead. One of their daughters found it.

I was being a smart ass and I posted 3 or 4 to disprove your claim that post counts are a way to pull out Mafia. A quiet player is always Mafia, and a loud player trying to spin is always Mafia. However, it is more about what they say. The fact is most of my posts up to that point had nothing to do with the game, and to try to use my post count at that point as evidence is asinine.
Do you think I am Inspector and that I may have your name, and you are trying to discredit me now? Interesting that you even brought up that theory at this point. Seems you are safeguarding for that possibility since I am voting for you.

Why does that piss you off so much? It's funny to claim honesty in a game where being dishonest is half of the battle, at least for Mafia. So when you are Mafia, you are going to tell us straight out that you are, since you are so honest? See why that statement is so funny.
I'm not pissed that you called me nuts or crazy. I've been called it before. I am, I have 2 certifiable psych diagnosis. No biggie. I call my patients crazy all the time. If you are going to be crazy, Manic Depression is about the best crazy you can get. It's fun. Some of our most talented and intelligent humans are. No biggie.
And I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but your style of playing doesn't always work. You were wrong in the last game we played together, and if people would have listened to you, we may very well have lost the game. It's a part of playing Mafia. Sometimes we are wrong, sometimes we are right. You can't call it facts. I get hunches about peole, that's for sure. And a lot of times I'm right, and I'm also frequently wrong. Especially in the first 2 rounds or so. To claim in the first round that you have facts, or have any clue what is going on is pretty bold, because really only Mafia and Inspector have any clue to who is who in the game.
You may be Mafia, I don't know for sure, but you sure are stuck on incriminating me for sticking up for Mike D. Which looks kinda spooky. Anytime someone comes so hard line against another player in the first round, it looks pretty suspect. I'm voting for you because I think that it would be good to have you in the run-off too. Being Ref is a hard ass job that I would NEVER want to do EVER. You just asked for some benign advise, it doesn't seem like it mattered. It was turned into something bigger than it probably was. I've only had to bring it up to use as a defense against people calling me Mafia because they are using some things I said against me to get the attention off of them and on to me. It really isn't that big of a deal.

We have 3 in the runnoff, I don't see any use in adding another. If votes do change or yall think we would be better off with someone else in it I may change, but to get something on record i'll go with someone with none

You may always edit posts, (you do, I checked), but you have never been this far in front on post count. Again, by themselves, minor ticks that bother me, but taken together, it is two ticks. And I have had much more to say about your content than the number of your posts. I agree with the loud / quiet theory, which is why I want a runoff. I would like to see where the votes stack up behind you. I continue to want to have a runoff.
I also got harassed by EAP and CSTNZ last game for running a full on statistical analysis on how Phi chose names. I have already stated I will look at every piece of raw data I can get my hands on. Yes, it can lead to incorrect assumptions, but to say that looking at data is asinine is the same thing they told me last game. You are saying that looking at HARD FACTS and drawing a conclusion is wrong and that instead, we should just listen to your assumptions? That's why the townies lost so many games in a row.

I have been pretty clear that I think you are mafia. Both of the last 2 games I played, I have warned everyone to watch out for a fake inspector. After reading Mike D's post, it seemed like the next logical move for you, so yes, I am safeguarding myself. I did it in game 46 as well. Maybe if someone had said something about EAP in that same game, you would not have had the trouble you had then either. I find it interesting that you find this interesting.

I am pissed because everyone takes shots at how I play and I am getting really sick of it! If and when I get to be mafia, I plan on being the best mafiosa I can without all the lying and deceit. I know that that sounds weird to you, since you feel this game is all about lying, but real mafiosas have a code of honor. I have never said I am god's gift to mafia, and I have repeatedly said I am wrong in my early assumptions. Please stop twisting what I say and putting words in my mouth. The way I play makes people uncomfortable. I DO kick up a lot of dirt. I do stomp around and kick over rocks. Ultimately though, I don't have the power to vote for all the other players. They make decisions for themselves. The nice thing about the way I play though, is that by turning over rocks and kicking up dirt, even if I am wrong, I can count on the rest of the townies looking at things from a distanced perspective and sorting out the additional information that results from it. It only feels like I come at you hard because instead of dodging voting patterns and opinions, you actually have to work against data, which is typically a lot harder.
I learned a lot in my first 2 games and if townies had listened, we would have gone 1,2,3 again. I am not god's gift to this game, but I take it very very seriously, and get pretty pissed when people say shit about how I play. I think 5 for 7 on voting is pretty good in 2 games. As is being on 2 townie winning teams (and soon to be 3) in a row. And I never ever throw dirt in peoples eyes. If anything, I do research and turn over rocks to open them. My question for you is why you are so dead set on me?
You have come at me hard for no reason, belittled me and the way play. Insulted both the way I write and my intelligence and no one has stopped to ask why. Maybe people are ok with that type of abuse to me because I don't have ovaries, but all you have done is insult me and offer up lies about me twisting facts and bending the truth.

Umm I'm not on a computer that is allowing me to do so without it taking 5 minutes to load. Since you have done so much research, you will note that I have had to do this in the past. However, I the other 99% of the time I do.

And note that, although I will point out your playing because it is related to the game, and it is WHAT EVERYONE INCLUDING YOURSELF DOES. I will never call you crazy or nuts or anything like that. that was BEYOND inappropirate and rude and far more than this came calls for. If anyone should be pissed it is me. And I am not. Because I am playing a game in the way that I have learned in my games flushes out Mafia.

I am walking away for a few hours. To the other townies, I have said my piece and posted what I could find. You all have to make your own call based on who you would like to be in the runoff. Yes I would still like a runoff. I think voting patterns are important in later rounds. I believe LLL is a mafia member, but still would like to pressure test that assumption. Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say.

Sorry, I just saw accusations and shots at my own playing style. If you have specific questions, do ask, I'd be more than happy to answer. I just don't see any in your posts.
The main reason I said anything about your playing style is because you dogged Bacon's style, and mine, and bragged about your own. Just trying to make you more self-aware. I can't tell if your claims are part of your method of playing, or if you really feel like you are so great at all of this, and the rest of us are so bad. Cause that is how your posts come across.

Just an FYI from the last game I played, since Viking has such a hard on over the post counts I have. This is, unfortunately for you guys, how I play. In this last game I was a Townie as well. (Inspector)

The post count is fairly useless without some context within the game. It really weird to be so concerned about her making it so "out of whack as to be useless." It's the first round.
Being dyslexia I've been known to edit my posts to make them more readable because people could actually misunderstand everything I've said if I didn't. The last person to bring it up to me was EAP last game and she was mafia. It's really not hard evidence of anything. Just one of those things that's usually used against someone when they are trying to paint someone as guilty. Not saying that's what your doing. But that's how I normally read it. Besides when Jham use to say it to me and that was sort of a running joking between the two of us.
She told the mods she was just fucking around at the top of the second page and she told Bacon the same thing on down the page, so I'm not sure what you are getting at. Also, the smoke screen thing could apply to you or I as well. Not sure why it makes her stick out more or how you figure it makes her easier to hide. She's sticking out like a sore thumb right now.

Why would I need you to look it up? I remember everything he said and I was aware of his possible angle during the whole game. I just happened to put more weight in his early exchanges with EAP then others did. My point was that he didn't ask my opinion in the way you are saying people do. Angela calmed me level headed because aside from the occasionally hissy fit I am a very level headed player who tries to look at every side. See me questioning if EAP was guilty last game. I always play like that until there is more actual proof.

No need to apologize. It didn't offend me. I just don't think it is necessarily true. I certainly don't feel like I drive the games. In fact, the people saying Bacon was driving the last game were the mafia members. And EAP was the one saying it about me the game before that. They weren't necessarily being truthful you know.

I think it's dangerous to allow a runoff based off the input of basically the people involved in it. Plus one or two others. It's far to likely the mafia are happy with the possible runoff.

What would you guys like me to say?!? Fuckin A. Its the first round, I voted for someone who had no votes, yet as we creep towards the first run-off i still have not ONE vote for myself. Either the townies don't think I'm a threat, or the Mafia don't think I'm a threat, and either my vote right now is for a Townie, or its for Mafia and they are trying to play it cool.
Bacon I don't think you are Mafia more than I think anyone else is Mafia this game thus far. Its the fuckin first round, and as a Townie (both first Mafia 48 and then now this Mafia 48) I don't know what else I'm supposed to say.

I find it very interesting the way LLL is getting dogged about this. She was clearly referring to her state of mind when the game started. Why is that so hard for you guys to figure out? She never said she was given up on THIS game. She was referring to the disappointment of the original one being stopped and her lack of motivation at the beginning of this one.
She, also, mostly used it to explain her thought process on Mike D's self-vote. You guys are the ones misunderstanding what she was saying and it's pretty freaking fishy that three players have now brought it up that misrepresented her original point.
Even Mike D, who she was defending, brought it up. You don't find anything strange about that Bacon? Or the fact that Viking feels the need to try to discredit you and I? Especially when he is saying things about going off of "facts" when their really aren't any at this point and most of the things he brought up in his last response to me were actually things mafia members in the last two games were were saying. I'm not saying he is guilty but I am saying that it's really suspicious and odd.
And I really don't know what to do.
