oooh!!! Not only is it pretty, but I'm super impressed they got it done so early!
It is really early. I found the artist out is known for making animated gifs with is murals. Maybe he's not finished? Take a look at his Tumblr. gif-iti.tumblr.com/
word!
I recognize this from some of the artwork from Portugal The Man's last album
The artist who designed it, INSA, also likes to turn his artwork into psychedelic gifs; more of his work can be found here.
Very cool, thanks for the link! I had not heard of INSA before, but I love his style. Animating his work really brings it to life and makes it even trippier.
I have lived in Manchester my entire life, specifically right off of Bushy Branch Rd. I drive by the farm everyday. I have never seen livestock out there, but they do however leave the arch, what stage, and the clock up. If you ever get the chance, drive by the field when it is empty. You will be amazed. Especially at the amount of porta pottys that are out there. Or right after, to see the absurd amount of trash bags. I promise you not all the people in Manchester hate Bonnaroo. It is my favorite four days of the year, and even my grandparents enjoy the chaos. I have been every year since it was Itchycoo. It brings so much money to the local schools and their athletics. Thank you all for attending every year!

Any pictures of the farm to share? We need our fix for 2014.

haha I will post some as soon as I can! I am so excited!!!!
I was expecting the arch to be a bit more neon looking to go with the theme. But I'm liking the glitter.
It's not done.
I know. But that one on Facebook looks pretty far along. If they add some sort of neon something idk where it'd go. I'm excited though! Wasn't saying it like it's a bad thing.

We thought the arch last year looked super boring until we saw it at night. Keep the faith.

This makes the "I'm not going to Roo" reality so much worse. Enjoy yourselves folks.
Did anyone else find it odd that Bonnaroo themselves shared a pic of the arch today on Facebook? I know pics get leaked early every year, but I don't remember Roo actually sharing it early. It's making me wonder what else they're going to do with it; like there must be more getting added to it.

That's definitely those little hanging silver pieces that I've seen done in a couple places (convention center in Raleigh, NC comes to mind). That will look amazing in the spotlights.

Maybe my memory just sucks??
Buzz, maaaaahnn! This is the last chance to sell tix. If that leak gets re-twitterfied and pinterested enough, maybe they sell another couple hundred tickets they wouldn't have. Each 100 is $30,000 pure profit at this point.

I don't see where they posted a photo of the new arch on FB today

Hmmm that's weird. I know I saw it, and I could've sworn it was from the official bonnaroo page. But I can't find it now either. Ok so maybe it's not my memory, but I'm just going crazy! Wouldn't surprise me!

The arch will be blasting 70k watts of sound plus lights, lasers, and cold fog from the Old Lunar stage.... Our friend Big Red, the world largest Baja Beetle, will be roaming around the Roo!
