The arch will be blasting 70k watts of sound plus lights, lasers, and cold fog from the Old Lunar stage.... Our friend Big Red, the world largest Baja Beetle, will be roaming around the Roo!
I will laugh every time you post this.
Christ, don't encourage him. It was funny for about five minutes yesterday. Now it's just spam.

I know, I know. I'm that guy that never gets tired of a joke unfortunately. I hesitated before encouraging him but was laughing and hit "create post" anyway.

You're clearly not as excited as I am that the Kalliope will be blasting 70k watts of sound plus lights, lasers, and cold fog from the Old Lunar stage.... Our friend Big Red, the world largest Baja Beetle, will be roaming around the Roo!

The French brought over an extra hand in 1886 and dropped in TN. It's been on the farm ever since. Probably the main reason bonnaroo ended up where it is.
Last year was my first year at 'Roo. Was that hand there lst year and the years before. I certainly do not remember it.
Oh man.. I've been so many times and I always see the hand with Planet Roo on merch etc.. but until you just said something - it hit me and I can not recall actually ever seeing it in person. I'm confused as to how I've made it 5 Bonnaroo's and have never walked past this thing?! I mean, seriously.. it's on the lunchbox for Pete's sake!
Did the clock tower still make the noises on the hour last year?
I don't remember it goin' off quite as much as in years past...but I wasn't exactly sober most of the time.
Exactly! Other than the clock tower being a structure that I recognize as being a part of Bonnaroo.. I honestly don't recall ever hearing a peep from it. Could be because I'm always camped on the opposite side from it. When I'm in Centeroo, there's so much noise and activity going on - I've never paid it much attention.

In 2012, it was terrible. My camp was right across the street from it. We were cats on the ceiling almost every time it went off while we were at camp.
Last year, I don't think it was nearly as offensive.

Yeah in 2012 I just wanted to tear it down!
Oh yeah, there was some inebriated plotting going on at our site to destroy that thing.
