I believe the parade that leads to the Grove begins at the clock tower, so I don't think that's it. That's according to that parade description anyway.
Yes, starts at the cuckoo clock tower and leads to the Grove. You'll want to be at that parade... I'll explain later, when I can.
Edit: I know a few things, not what the Grove is unfortunately. Same boat as y'all.
Fully planning on it.. That "special performance" is just too enticing.
1/30: Cold War Kids
2/6: Cherub
4/22: The Mountain Goats
5/25: Laura Jane Grace "Killing Me Loudly"
5/31: The Decemberists
6/11-6/14: BONNAROO 2015
6/28: Against Me!
6/30: Against Me!
Yeah, they obviously haven't started on it yet. He posted this two days ago.
I'm honestly surprised how good it looks still. Usually the pictures we see of the arch before it's been redressed look all delapitated and graffitied. This design must've just been too pretty to mess with.
People were ripping all the sequins off on the way out Sunday as high as they could. Thats why its so black on the bottom half. Someone took pics this winter and they had it wrapped in plastic. Looks ready for a new outfit.
I think it has had horns before but whats with the barbed wire thing? Can't wait to see!
I'm wondering about this 'Grove' thing too. I thought it may be in the back but then I saw something about it in reference to the clock tower so maybe that's what they're calling the clocktower/general store/2nd entrance area? No freakin' idea. I hope it's something cool.

Oooh, maybe that's what I was reading. So now we need to figure out what the heck the Grove is!

The Grove along with some other things will be big good surprises. The Live Nation deal truly is allowing some major improvements to The Farm over the course of the next few years.

Just thinking back on improvements over my last 6 years, I think the biggest thing was a bridge. Just knowing the fact that we have tent screens and a new area this year gives me hope for the future. Its like when Obama got elected the first time butterflies in my belly right now.
"The Grove" will be a surprise (hopefully) so you won't find out till you get there.
And The Who Stage IS what used to be the Sonic Stage.
If the parade starts at the clock tower and end at the grove it would def make sense for this area to be located in the unused space next to the comedy theater in the corner of centeroo. Obviously the grove won't be the area where Kalliope was last year, as that would be an extremely short parade route. It sounds like this new area will be where all the art cars are located for the fest and will be an EDM haven.

So you're expecting great things to happen but they're never going to come?

I thought any improvements this year weren't Live Nation related.

I'm not sure if "The Grove" specifically this year is a direct result of Live Nation or not. But money's money.

Gotcha. You can always make the case that they were willing to be riskier with the money with investments in the grounds due to the incoming Live Nation safety net.

The Grove is were you can take people like Phil to look at the flowers. Sounds like a solid investment.

Maybe it's just been too long, but I'm surprised nobody has ran with the Grove-Forest synonym thing to support sad hopes that they're bringing the Sonic Forest back in another form.

After the Walking Dead, that's what sprang to my mind. I think it's most likely that and maybe some added shade trees for the future. There is plenty of open space to work with there.
When is this parade from the clock tower to the Grove?
Second this
www.bonnaroo.com/activities/art-cars-parades-costume 9pm which is kind of a bummer. I'm already missing at least 15 minutes of Temples and as intriguing as the parade sounds I'm not missing another 15-20 minutes for it.
So if I was to guess, they extended centeroo behind the witerslide into the tree line, or this is something out in the campground somewhere. Interesting either way.
