Hopefully if those small trees are still around during Roo we don't have any idiots who knock 'em down or mess with them. It'd be great to let them grow a few years and offer shade on some walks
Bout freakin time they posted those. I knew they were coming thats why I havent posted anything yet. If yall remember where we parked to plant Matts tree, there are new trees all along both side of that road. Thats the bottom pic.
The tower is still very shaky when you up in it. Can't go in the clock like you used to be able to go in the basket at the top, but it is still sketchy as hell being up there!!!!
Edit: Remeber the purpose of these pics was to show the grass.
If you look, you will see that there still isn't any construction going on, which these were took last week.
I noticed yesterday that the pre-fest workers tent is going up. I will probably start my set up pics thread this weekend.

Nope, not hard at all. It is actually smaller than the new trees and its right on the corner. These new trees are really nice and should provide some great shade in a few years.
Psyched to see they are starting to line the streets with trees. Hopefully one day all the streets will be tree lined and everyone can sleep til 10 am!
I remember noticing last year on Thursday that a lot of the grass seemed like new turf. It was amazing how quickly that stuff turned to dust.

You'll be waiting quite some time before the trees are that big! Then again, it is the farm...anything can happen!

yes, and in addition to that I'd like to stress how important it is to drink water and everyone should buy an ez-up to put over their tent incase it hasnt been mentioned.

And now back on topic - I love the grass pics, RooFan. Last year there wasn't nearly this much grass, so Im hoping it lasts a little given it's stronger roots

i wish they would do this during bonnaroo. i don't drink beer, so keeping a buzz in centeroo isn't possible
FWIW, this year there will be two or three Frozen alcoholic beverage booths in centeroo. I know I am working one in the What stage area Friday thru Sunday. I dont know what Kind of Frozen beverages they are but if I had my guess, Ritas, Daiquiris and the likes...
