I cannot find it on the website. I am surprised it is not was to find considering the second weekend starts on thursday!

I am pretty sure they aren't broadcasting weekend two. If they do repeats of weekend one, it'll probably follow the same schedule.

Buzzkill I wish I woulda known that. Figured id catch half the sets the first weekend and half the second. From what I saw, Benny killed it. Alt J won me over. Violent Femmes were perfect. Major Lazer always a good time. Bauuer had a good set but just looked goofy in front of the masses at the Sahara tent. Yeasayer was really good. Hoping for them at Roo. They impressed me way more then Grizzly Bear did. I missed Foals I missed all of Sunday
The Sahara tent reminds me of the humongous tents they have at a lot of the European festivals. Basically, a tent the size of the entire Which Stage area.
If Bonnaroo are doing an EDM stage, it'd be nice if we could get the Mega Structure, as well (though, they would need to make that tent bigger)

Yeah, that was awesome. The production of the whole festival completly blows Bonnaroo out of the water, with the exception of the shuttles, which were an abortion. Blur was fantastic, other highlights were Kurt Vile, Nick Cave, SMD, James Blake and Prydz. The Sahara and Yuma tents were stellar. Prydz in the Sahara was particularly good cause it seemed like all the idiots were off watching WuTang or RHCP. Missed ShoutingMatches and Cloud Nothings because of shuttle malarky. It took 2.5 hours to get in Friday (driver got so lost the passengers had to find someone who spoke Spanish to read the map to him) then only 40 minutes Saturday, then 1.5 hours Sunday. Saturday night it took us 2 hours toget home cause the shuttle just didn't show up. I also have sand in every orfice of my body.

Can you be a bit more specific on this one for someone who has never been? I know people have talked about the grounds always being nicer in general and availability of water but I'm curious to know what else they do better that you noticed.

Screens in every tent which weren't even that necessary because the ground was actually flat and all the sight lines were better. There were no backs on the soundboard tents so you could watch the show reasonably well from behind them. There was real grass, significantly shorter lines for bathrooms, activities in the camp grounds and killer art installations. The tents also all seemed bigger and it seemed like the schedule was more staggered making it easier to bounce around and see a ton of stuff.

Oh no, I can see the Coachella is better than Bonnaroo argument starting up in 3- 2- 1-....

Production wise there's nothing to argue about. Being able to actually see all the bands is a huge plus over Bonnaroo. The only negatives for me were only being able to drink beer in the beer gardens, which other people I were with actually preferred, and I prefer the unopppsed headliner.

I went to both Coachella and Bonnaroo last year, and have to say that, although the grounds at Coachella were nicer, I much preferred Bonnaroo hands down. The people at 'Roo were much friendlier, and there was a more artsy vibe and sense of community that Coachella just did not have. I camped at both festivals.

Really don't understand why Roo avoids this. They really should add screens to the tents, if only for the people who can't get in during a crowded show. Ditto on the ground....standing on that sand under the tents can be annoying since certain areas give you better views.
The other stuff sounds great too. We should add it to some "list" so the next time inforoosters get to meet/talk to Capps all that shit can be added to the "This is what you need to fix" pile. Sounds like a great weekend. Thanks for the info

Yea, I was hoping to avoid that but did want to hear about how the production is better. There are a lot of things that Roo could do better but both festivals seem like great times. Just depends on if you want to melt in the Roo sun and which lineup is more to your liking.

Well you have to give them the better production award; I cannot knock them on that. I will knock them that some of those huge stages seem inappropriate to moving some of the crowds musically -- but the huge crowds might also be fun. I would get tired of it, I would assume I would like the smaller and more crowded by square feet crowd. Go figure.

Yea, that's what seems clear. Basically everyone I've talked to who has attended Coachella over the years point out how it's production and the way things are run just tend to be better.

We brought it up at moog for sure, with emphasis.
Yeah, I think it was #2 behind the double whammy of "as awesome as the lines going into Bonnaroo were, the lines going into Centeroo were bullsh*t".

Which line were you taking? I'm on the white line next weekend.
