Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The problem fer me is that I have the money now, but I have no idea what my work situation will be like come next April. And if it were to come down to it in the hypothetical future where I'd have to choose between my Coach ticket and Bonnaroo without a doubt I'd choose 'Roo. Plus the travel expenses alone terrify me as I ain't chummy with nobody out west.
I want to tell you that you'll be fine, but with Coachella tickets, who the hell knows.
The last 2 years I've gotten shut out before I could get a ticket/make plans... so this year I'm doing first minute of pre-sale to be extra sure.
(Knocks on wood)
Exactly this. The tickets go faster and faster every year.
I'll be in a meeting so I'm giving my frontgate account login info to someone else to snag one for me. You can store a credit card on your frontgate account, so I'm hoping it will go smoothly. You may want to consider doing the same if you trust someone The worst they can do to you is order 2 tickets instead of 1 (that is the limit) or buy them for the wrong weekend (a crime punishable by death).

Am I correct in understanding that if you purchase a car camping pass, it A) has to be purchased at the same time as your festival pass, and B) must be used along with the festival pass it was purchased with?
I've got a friend in California who has gone the past couple years and I think is going again next year, but I won't be able to talk to him by the time the pre-sale starts. I assume I'd just camp with him and whoever he goes with, so I'm not sure I should buy a separate car camping pass. Then again if they end up not going I'm screwed out of a camping spot.

I just booked a plane ticket to Ontario CA to attend J Tree Fest as a last minute thing this weekend and also bought 2 tix to Roger Waters (very good seats) too just now. Totally spaced out Coachella and only have like 80 bucks in my account haha. I'll have to run to the bank first thing in the morning to deposit some cash.
If you folks don't know anyone out there, gather a little clan from Inforoo to go with. Most of you are far from rookies. Shoot me a msg if you have any questions and I can help ya out with what knowledge I have gained from previous years.
Make sure to get some sort of camping too. Those may go faster than the festival tickets.

A. The camping pass does need to be purchased along with a ticket order
B. They state this, but I have no idea how they'd ever enforce it... I have heard of no problems with people being turned away if they had both a camping pass and a wristband. I think that would cause way too many headaches.

Kind of hoping there's a ton of traffic right at 10:00 so it slows things down and people get discouraged so I can easily purchase one when I get home at like 3:00 Pacific time.
So if I get a ticket with a camping pass and get there a little later or before a friend with a camping pass, can I/he hold his/my spot until the other arrives? Or do we need to get there at the same time to camp next to each other? I imagine it'd be a pain in the ass to even find each other unless we meet up beforehand. Do that have some type of labeling system for rows or whatever? Surely they would have to with that many people camping. I'm tempted to hold out on getting a camping pass and see if I do end up cancelling the Lolla trip and just book a hotel for this. Having access to a clean bathroom, getting a decent night's sleep in a temperature controlled room, and maybe even getting a complimentary breakfast just seems like the way to do it. Especially considering we'd have to buy most of the crap for camping anyway since we'd be flying and renting a car to get there.
