Monday night while sleeping, I had a vision that Pearl Jam brought Florence Welch onstage to cover Crazy Mary. I wanted that to be documented, just incase.
My buddy and I are heading down from North Carolina and looking for a place to stay for the weekend. We should be getting there late thursday. Anyone wanna help a brother out?
I can give you a more definitive answer tomorrow on whether I have space or not! But don't hinge your hopes on Mayo I'll PM you tomorrow!

We get to see Mookie Blaylock in a few short days! ;D Which happens to be my all time favorite band.
I auditioned to be on VH1's World Series of Pop Culture, and Mookie Blaylock was our team name. We made red jersey's with the number 10 on them. I wanted to be "Southern Pop Culture on the Skids", but I was overruled.
Gotta go with your friends on this one. I am hoping we get a heavy dose of 10, which I think I am going to listen to now.

My friend Joan is unable to come, so I have one extra ticket for both days, if anyone needs one. She will happily accept whatever she can get for them. PM me if you interested.

I'm leaving my house in a few. Hope to be there for Joan Jett. Scrog called and he is held up in traffic and was pulling over to take a nap just south of ATL. He'll text or call when he gets there.

Little late, but a great local band called Spirits and the Melchizedek Children will be playing the Free Yr Radio tent at 7:30. Go see them if you've got downtime or something.
some highlights of the weekend: 1. seeing so many Inforoosters 2. MAYO and JHO ON STAGE WITH GIRL TALK 3. Great lineup and music. Can't decide on my favorite set right now. 4. Joan Jett on stage singing with Foo Fighters
the only less than wonderful thing! Just too many damn people. It was hard to move around and lines for vendors and potties were outrageous. Still, it was a well-behaved and pleasant crowd. There was a huge police presence but they really didn't hassle anyone that I saw. 5. the weather couldn't have been better.
Hey y'all! No brunch this morning. Pretty sure everyone was heading out early, and to be honest, I'm a liiiiitle sore from KILLING IT ON STAGE WITH MY BFF GREGG. Just sayin. ;D
More later, just needed to tell everyone it was delightful so see you all, and safe travels home!! <33333

Had a blast yesterday. Quack the haters, girl talk was AMAZING. Adam ant was a special treat, neon trees were pretty good, ludacris was a party, and of course pearl Jam rocked it.
However, I felt the sound at the main stage was too quiet. Anyone else agree?
The biggest surprise for me was T.I. I thought he was fun as hell and a better show than Luda. Wish I would've caught GT, but my group was set on not moving, so I just stayed with them. I didn't have any complaints about the sound, but I think it was blatantly obvious that MM was not prepared to facilitate that many people, in terms of bathrooms and ATMs. Other than that, it was a great time.
Oh and Jhamm, you were almost right. When PJ broke out into Crazy Mary, I was totally expecting Florence.

Checking out youtube RIGHT NOW! That's awesome. We got pretty damn close to PJ so I didn't see any of GT. We had some much fun & I loved meeting & hanging out with y'all. Can't wait until next time!!

i agree...definitely no sound issues for foo fighters friday night, but saturday it almost seemed like they were trying to keep the overall volume down, and kept messing with the vocal levels to do it. had a great time and loved meeting a lot of y'all....time to do it all again next weekend for counterpoint!!
