that's the update from weather underground as of this morning. That sounds as good as we can hope for.
Now check out the 10-day on wunderground.com for Murfreesboro, TN which is just a few miles up the road. There they are showing highs in the 90's all 4 days with Saturday and Sunday hitting 99 & 100. Weird that the data would vary so much in such a short distance.

I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
High today is supposed to be 69 degrees here in Manchester. I remember last year having a streak of low 70's for highs the week after Bonnaroo. It'll hit just right some year....surely!

Hey guys - AWESOME news on the weather front. Two local "now-casters" on Twitter - @nashseverewx and @ruthseverewx have created a dedicated Twitter account to forecast Bonnaroo weather and now-cast any severe weather that happens while we're all on the farm - twitter.com/BonnarooWx
Basically, "now-casting" is live, up-to-the-minute localized severe weather coverage - invaluable info about how much of a threat storms are, specifically when storms/rain will hit, when to take cover and when the storm will blow over in 5 minutes, etc. If you've ever seen live news channel coverage in the south of severe weather - this is 800x better - there's no crying wolf, it's quick and to the point (in 140 characters or less) and very specific about where you are.
We'll be using these weather updates on Radio Bonnaroo, but I encourage you guys to follow the twitter account and set up your twitter so that you receive SMS messages from @bonnaroowx - that way if cell data service is spotty, you'll still get texts about severe weather.
If you have any requests for what you'd like @bonnaroowx to include, let me know (I'm outtheother on twitter)!
Their first tweet:
"Bonnaroo Forecast // Wed - Lo 59, Hi 81 & Dry // Thu - Lo 59, Hi 83 w/ Tiny Rain Chance. Daily forecasts at 7am & 9pm. All info from NWS."
I really actually hope it DOESN'T rain at this bonaroo, sprinkle is fine but thunderstorms and downpour? No thank you, not in a tent. I'd rather not be a wet chica the entire weekend. I love rain, but I have always been able to handle dusty air a hell of a lot better than being soaked to the bone.
First year I went in '08, there was a torrential downpour, my tent leaked, all my clothes got wet, I was miserably cold and damp, had to wear the same clothes and sleep in my car. Somehow through all of that, I still had the most incredible experience ever (Kanye STILL sucks, thanks Robert Randolph for that chant!)!! Then the very next year there was absolutely NO rain and the water trucks made everything a mud pit. I think I'm hoping for something right in the middle.. maybe some afternoon sprinkles and clear skies at night!!
