I really actually hope it DOESN'T rain at this bonaroo, sprinkle is fine but thunderstorms and downpour? No thank you, not in a tent. I'd rather not be a wet chica the entire weekend. I love rain, but I have always been able to handle dusty air a hell of a lot better than being soaked to the bone.
Be prepared for both. You'll probably get a mixture anyway.

This forecast officially looks great. Weather.com has a high on Friday of 78! I may have to pack a hoodie and long sleeves for the night shows. With the sun and humidity it will still be hot, but it looks like max actual temps of less than 88-90 are coming to fruition. The big x factor now will be rain. Hopefully just a light sprinkle or two.

Yea, all the sites have been so different when they were changing so drastically from day to day, now they are pretty much in agreement.. Lets hope they are getting dialed in now and this stuff today sticks!
I bought boots last year...never used them. Wondering if I should even wear them this year, cause I havent broken them in... *shrug* Might just stick with Crocs

I purchased boots for Roo 2009 and wore them once. I bring them every year just in case!

We upgraded our gear this year to help beat the heat, between that and this forecast, it's looking sooo money.
Coming from someone who just started going to Roo in 2010 and so only knows Roo as scorchingly hot, i'm excited about the possibility of a mild(er) Roo.
Although i'm hoping it's not jacket weather at night. I love the absolutely perfect 70 degree nights the past couple years.
So, one thing I noticed with the forecast so far is... north winds early on. If air is coming down from the north, it's more likely to be colder. If it is coming from the south, as is forecasted later Saturday and Sunday - then it's warmer as air gets pushed up from warmer climates and the humidity of the Gulf of Mexico.
As long as the Thurs/Fri/Sat stretch stay comfortable, I am a-ok.
I live about an hour northwest of Manchester and it is absolutely beautiful weather right now. You couldn't ask for better weather. I hope this lasts!! If it does it will be awesome!
Every piece of clothing I've purchased for Roo this year has been in anticipation of weather like the last two years. I actually had to go to Goodwill today to pick up a couple pair of jeans because none of my jeans or pants fit anymore and I don't have much I can wear to stay warm. I'm excited about the possibility of jean and sweatshirt weather at Roo!

Jean and sweatshirt weather?
What parallel universe are you living in? Its warm to me.
