www.wsmv.com/category/213405/4-warn-weather-forecast I saved this local news site from last year. I trust the local forecast much better than accuweather, but of course it hasnt gotten close enough to when I'm headin down to even see the forecast for then. I'm actually surprised to see 70s towards the end. I wish somehow we could see some of that by the time we get there...especially since i'll be in TN Monday night.

It was 93 in Middle TN today, but the humidity was in check. I was at a concert at Centennial Park and it was really comfortable in the shade during the heat of the day.

Glad I grew up in KS then. It was 86 here in OH today. I agreed to allow the air to be turned on, but only set at 76. I was cold. Had to open up to warm the house back up. It's 79 in here now. I have my blanket over me.
However, come 2pm two weeks from now, I'll be dying.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Minnesota was hot as dicks today. 90-something and huuumid. So of course I had to do a test run with the tent and ez ups. I think that was our last hot day before we'll leave.
i just don't want any tornadoes passing through while we're on the farm. I'm from jersey so we're not used to those mother quackers. wasn't there a tornado warning in '09 on thursday... that storm was insane! i do welcome rain on the farm though, the last two years were so dusty without rain. i guess i really don't know what i want huh? haha, just can't wait to have my campsite set up. it's so close!!!
Yeah I remember bein' camped in 007 that year and we did hear murmurs of tornado warnin's. It was a fuggitall moment as my campmates and I realized there was nothin' to do really if a tornado did rip through The Farm. So we just drank more.
It is not a nice thing to imagine though. So while I'd like some rain, preferably nothin' quite so treacherous.

yeah i was camped in pussy galore... i have actually been camped in pussy galore 3 years running now, hope to make it 4. i actually like it out there
If only bonnaroo were to take place this weekend...... gosh dayumn that forecast is sexy for the next week and then its getting hot hot hot
Was thinking the same thing, according to Accuweather this Thursday the high is suppose to be 85, Friday 72, Saturday 72, and Sunday 79. For when we all are going to be down there Thursday 90, Friday 92, Saturday 94, and Sunday 93...with rain on Friday and Saturday.
I think we can confidently say it is going to be as hot as f*ck this year (not that there was any doubt). The 10 day on weather.com predicts a high of 91 for the Tuesday and Wednesday prior to Roo. If only it were this upcoming weekend...
You get used to it Dan. 6 years and no A/C in the car with Tennessee heat. Got quoted $1,000 to fix it. I like being the only guy with the windows down sometimes, except at red lights.
Weather channel forecast is up for Thursday. 90 degrees with rain in Memphis that day. May rain over the weekend. I also don't trust any weather forecast this far in advance though. It will change. Hopefully for the better.

We need coldfrontin (i think thats the handle) to come ova here and tell us what the deal is. I also won't trust the forecast until the a week from today.
I like to use www.noaa.gov who has only been wrong once since i used it in high school to predict when we would have snow days.
I did some research last year on which site had the most accurate weather forecasts and Weather Underground came out on top as the most highly regarded by field professionals. This did include global weather reporting so that eliminated NOAA / NWS, but for US weather only NWS is really good.
Weather.com was widely seen as a joke, and from doing about a two weeks worth of weather tracking it was always most off for the cities that I selected. I don't recall what the results were from Accuweather.
