wasnt getting thread love ....so I will jump on this thread. this wait sucks!!!! They are cutting pretty close someone said music today told them everyone would recieve by june 1st. I undestand that is a week but it one thing goes wrong in the shipping process you have little to no time to fix. Heres to hoping it goes ok for everyone
I'm not angry or anything. Just anxious. It's much closer to the festival than I am comfortable with. It is comforting to hear that there are others in this boat as well, though.
(Incidentally, I ordered mine before the website crashed on the on-sale date.)
I think I saw someone post on the Bonnaroo Facebook page that the remaining tickets should ship out by Friday...then again, it was the Bonnaroo Facebook page.
In the past tickets haven't even started shipping until may 25th. I am anxious too, but there is no reason to be pissed off at musictoday. You will get your ticket and you will be fine. What they have done differently this year is stagger the shipping. Before they shipped them all at once. I'm guessing the change is to AVOID mis-shipments and make sure the tickets go to there rightful owners. Just try to relax, YOU ARE GOING TO BONNAROO!
Yea I wouldn't yell at any of the people working for roo or stuff like that it's not their fault. Well maybe because they didn't put your stack in the outgoing mail yet but there are like 100k of those things going out. Im hating it extra because I got 5 so I have my 4 friends askin me are they here yet on top of my own anticipation. I'm sure it will get here but it's felt like an eternity. All I want is tracking information!!

Last year I got my email on 5/12 and the festival started the 9th. It's now the 23rd and the festival starts on the 7th. So I'm looking at about two weeks later (so far) compared to last year. There are only eight business days until I leave for the festival and I haven't even received the email yet.
Like I said, I'm sure it'll be fine but that doesn't make me any less anxious.

The past couple of years, I've had to choose between roo and waka...I chose roo, but 8 business days before I leave, and nothing from roo but advertising emails. Checked waka's site...they ship when the ticket is paid for....they do not 'hold' tickets.
Obviously Superfly execs skipped econ class the day they discussed substitution.
I don't want to go through this again....it's nonsense.
Without some guarantee that I will have my ticket AT LEAST two full weeks prior to leaving, I am starting to doubt if I go again.
Maybe the reason they are not selling out, eh?
Purchased minutes before the crash, payment plan paid off in full May 1, shipping UPS...no wristband, no shipping email, no courtesy email....nothing.
If you used the payment plan you will be one of the last to receive your ticket. I'm in the same boat. It's to be expected if you ask me. Never in the 3 years I've gone to Roo have I gotten my ticket in the mail 2 weeks prior to the event. Shipping wouldn't be the reason that tickets aren't selling out, because people would have to buy the tickets to be paranoid about shipping. I think reading this forum really makes it look worse than it is. You see that other people got theirs last week or whenever and you're just like WTF? but I think that if it wasn't for the excitement on this forum people wouldn't be so annoyed. The situation is only stressful if you let it be. It's sad to think that you'd let something like this get to you so much that you're throwing in the towel on 'Roo altogether, but to each his own, I guess.
I see it as basic respect, and it is very important.
I have thought of another option....if I can talk my roo-mate (a really nice lady) to let my wristband (and associated emails) go to her.....then I can disconnect myself from this nonsense. All the good and none of the bad.

just woke up and had SIX new emails!! i was SOOO EXCITED
...until i realized that NONE of them were musictoday! Arghghghgh!!!! I keep on checking my spam folder too, because last year I remember not even getting a shipping email the tickets just came....

I've been going through the same routine for days now. Waking up with several e-mails only to find that none of them are from ROO....until this morning! My wristband is currently being shipped and should arrive by this time next week. Literally cannot wait just to see it. Nothing has felt real but once I have the wristband, the game changes.
I wouldn't worry too much if you haven't received an e-mail yet though. You paid for it, you have an order/confirmation number, everything will be fine.
Most of our group is still waiting for ours! Except the ones that got $175 stubhub tickets, they got theirs in a couple days after ordering... Grrrr.
I think I know what I'm doing next time!
Just cuious. your friend got theirs for $175 and a few days after ordering. Did they register it yet? are they sure its real. thats a little too good to be true!!!!!
