Anyone else order an RV pass and companion pass? I have received my 3 wristbands, an RV Pass, an "RV +Companion" pass, and a companion pass. The "RV Pass" and the "RV +Companion Pass" have different numbers.
Have they mistakenly sent me 2 RV passes? I don't want to start making calls if this is what everyone has received.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

That sounds like what I usually get. They treat them as 2 separate tickets. No bueno on the 2 RVs. I would tell you for sure just incase they changed it this year if I ever get mine.
I just called and got right through to a representative. She said that she's been told that they intend to get the bracelets all out in the next 24-48 hours (notice all of the qualifiers in that statement).
My issue is that I'm leaving San Francisco on May 31 to fly to DC, then to Baltimore, Charlotte, Atlanta, and finally Nashville on the Thursday of Roo. If I don't get the tickets before I go, she said I could notify them and they'll hold them for me at will call. Instead I changed the shipping address from my house to my office. That way my assistant can get them to me. You all have assistants don't you? They're very handy.
But calling was easy and quick and the person was helpful. As someone said above, don't take your anxieties out on the poor people at the call center. They don't set the exhorbitant service fees for which you get diddly-squat.
(EDIT: 9 hours later I got my confirmation email.)
So it turns out that the e-mail saying my wristband was on the way was incorrect. That package contained my VIP upgrade and shuttle passes. I am still wristbandless. !Cabrones!
So don't put complete faith in the e-mail saying you'll have your wristband by a certain date. That date may arrive and you'll get something different from them. There's a disturbing level of fuckedupedness at Music Today.

I think this is a calculated move by AC and Music Today to maximize the number of tickets purchased through their portal. By shipping the tickets most likely to be re-sold (i.e. some guy who bought his last July and has since had life happen and can no longer go) they are withholding these tickets until the last possible second, all the while leaving the official ticket portal open. Thus, people holding out for a third party ticket at a discount freak out and pay full price.
This is the only way to explain how people who purchased tickets a few weeks ago have already received them.

That is a very well thought out theory. Damn it! Now I forgot where I put my beer!
LOL, this is the least supportive response I've seen here. I'm seriously giggling at the implied panic. I'm sure that it was meant to be empathetic, though!

I've been on here all day trying to help people in a similar situation as myself. I seriously wanted to know what he was going to do now? He's going out of town and I have friends in the same predicament.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. I read it in a Simpsons "What about the children. Will somebody please think about the children." voice.
Like I said, I thought that it was meant empathetically. My apologies again.

just checked my email... nothing about tickets being shipped. so i checked my original purchase receipt and i did, in fact, pay an extra $13.50 so that I could have UPS' "Expedited Shipping" if it doesn't ship tomorrow, and arrive here withing 24 hours, then i officially got ripped off.

That sounds like bad business tactics, especially since StubHub is currently a large sponsor of bonnaroo...

I called and was told that they would be to me by June 1. The person seemed pretty clueless so I'll follow up tomorrow. I don't need the added stress so I'm going to chill out, go to yoga tomorrow a.m., and then when I get to work, start working the Music Today phone lines like a maniac.

From Roo's facebook:
"As of today, all Bonnaroo 2012 wristbands have been sent and should be in your hands by Friday (but not on your wrist until Bonnaroo staff does that for you at the gate)
Please be sure to email bonnarootix@musictoday.com if you did not receive a shipping confirmation email or if you have any ticketing issues so we can get everything straightened out for you as soon as possible"

Let me know when you get yours. I have 3 "tickets" in hand. They are fucking up so bad, I'm afraid to call and say "hey you toads sent me too many RV passes" only to have them cancel them all or the wrong one or something.

until you see this.
I have been tracking my tickets, I live down here in Florida.I was happy when they went from Charlottesville over to Richmond, VA. I was over joyed when I checked the other day and they were in Jacksonville, FL. That is about 2 hours north of me, if they were my cousin at the airport I would go pick them up, but they are not, they are tickets in the UPS mail system. I check the status today, they have passed the arrival scan in Jacksonville, but now they are in Knoxville Tennessee! WTF!!!
I posted this in the VIP upgrade thread I posted but it's relevant here too, hope it helps!
I called and asked a couple of questions and got some good information out of it. According to a manager-level ticketing agent, you do not need to register your wristband to get into the festival, despite it saying that you do everywhere.
Also, it is possible for you to get "wristband numbers" if you don't have your wristband -- if you need to leave early for the fest you can call and ask them to hold them at will-call for you and not worry about where your ticket is.
Additionally the package does not require a signature confirmation (thought it would and was stressing about someone being home to accept the package.)
Apparently Bonnaroo picks and chooses what to communicate with them so they were baffled as to why they received so many angry phone calls about the contest. She originally tried to tell me that "someone online" had "run with the info" and "not to believe everything you read online" until I directed her to the Bonnaroo Facebook and her reaction was something like "well I'll be. No wonder everyone is mad at us."
She told me to reassure everyone who was worried about getting into the festival that they will make sure you have your ticket in hand by the time you get there, whether you have to go to will-call or will have it in hand by Friday.
She's going to try to touch base with Bonnaroo about extending the upgrade registration deadline. I should hear from her by the end of the day. I told her I was much less concerned with possible upgrades than I was with everyone who bought a ticket being able to go. And she reassured me everything was fine!
Hope this helps everyone who is stressin about tickets, data mining or both. I spoke with Crystal at MusicToday.
UPS just updated my order on their tracking page, I should be getting it late thursday evening. I am happy to know my wristband is on it's way to me but i am still expecting bonnaroo to (if not make up for it) at-least give us satisfaction in knowing why the people who paid more have to deal with this kind of scare since the people over at MUSIC TODAY seem to not know a dayumn thang
The explanation I received was:
"The reason USPS shipped first is because it takes longer to get there. You technically did get expedited shipping because it only takes two days for UPS so arrive, so they shipped them so they would arrive at the same time."
So essentially we paid twice as much to have it arrive at exactly the same time. I will not be doing that again.
