UPS just updated my order on their tracking page, I should be getting it late thursday evening. I am happy to know my wristband is on it's way to me but i am still expecting bonnaroo to (if not make up for it) at-least give us satisfaction in knowing why the people who paid more have to deal with this kind of scare since the people over at MUSIC TODAY seem to not know a dayumn thang
The explanation I received was:
"The reason USPS shipped first is because it takes longer to get there. You technically did get expedited shipping because it only takes two days for UPS so arrive, so they shipped them so they would arrive at the same time."
So essentially we paid twice as much to have it arrive at exactly the same time. I will not be doing that again.
Yea that's pretty stupid. They should be shipping out tickets much earlier than they have this year and all at the same time.
I check the status today, they have passed the arrival scan in Jacksonville, but now they are in Knoxville Tennessee! WTF!!!
The same thing happened to macmusicjunkie. His wristbands were in a post office right near his house then the next day went to one 2 hours from his house.

Yup. I may be legal what they did, but it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I had a feeling things were going to be messed up this year when they were all over Ask Gary saying they would start shipping in late April or early May.

Mine arrived almost two weeks later. That UPS expedited order was purchased last June during the pre-pre-pre sale. I ordered two more for friends that were sent USPS and arrived earlier. All indications stated that orders would be shipped in the order they were placed.
So yes, we paid extra to receive slower service. After all, I ordered the service 8 months prior. I count service from the moment it's paid for. Not from when they feel like it.
Between this dishonest nonsense and the ticket ordering fiasco I am finished with this incompetent bunch of shitwads. They have been doing a festival for 11 years and can't get basic shit correct? Pathetic.
The real ticket purgatory is when your ticket is in your hometown, then goes from your hometown to Louisville for 4 days and then goes back to your hometown, to be delivere the day before you leave for the fest.
UPS will be hearing from me, since I paid for second day air just so this wouldnt happen
I'm thinking they shippe it via air overnight... Keep in mind it still hasn't been delivered, UPS guy usually comes late where I live so I won't know for sure till later tonight... Ugh, wish me luck!

Everybody remember the ticket problems (buying them, shipping them) when they give us "Bonnaroo Surveys" to fill out. Let them know so they can fix it.

I wonder if they are afraid that the surveys will be too focused as the ticketing will be all a ton of people will complain about.
So my friends tickets got lost in the mail? Now we have to go pick them up at will call? Where is this at? or could we just show a receipt at the toll booths?
