For the record, my division would be pretty well f*cked without our paralegal. And I think that you might be thinking of something that Meg said.
Accuracy is a good thing. Much more into accuracy than precision, but I like both when I can get it! And you may be right on the Meg point. I forget where I saw it, and really do not feel like going back to look tonight.

Viking - you were way out of line threatening to post the PM of your role. As others have pointed out, it could easily be photo shopped. And as the ref I have plausible deniability and could say its not the one i sent, even if it is. DON'T do it. The first page of Mafia outlines the rules and when you sign up you agree to those rules.
You have already stated that you will be taking a break from Mafia so you are clearly prepared for the mafia ban hammer. If you willfully dismiss the rules of Mafia and post your role PM, you will be banned from Mafia and will cause the game to be restarted.
Kdogg... No. Short and simple. PM means private message. You know this. There is an underlying assumption on this board that information shared via PM is PRIVATE! Unless someone says something in a PM that suggests they are a danger to themselves or someone else it should remain between the sender and receiver. Do NOT post the PM.

I think the PM was erased in fast enoghe time for it to do very little harm. Meaning I doudt many people even read it. I did but saw nothing to make me look down on anyone because of their politics. I think we should just drop it and close the round. That would probably be best.
That leaves me with no way to defend myself, and I did not break the rule. I had planned to, but had backed off it in thread prior to KDogg posting the PM.
And as you stated, you had time to read it. Plus Mike D, Quacker, NBF, and bacon were all on. And that is just the people without hidden accounts. People may not have read it, but some did.

While i disagree with it whole heartedly, there are no rules that say PM's (that are not the role PM's) can not be shared.

While I also disagree with Viking's threat to post his role PM, he has not done so. He has also not violated the rules at this time.
While both have crossed a line, neither has technically broken the Mafia rules yet. Hopefully calmer heads will prevail and the remainder of the dark o'clock hours will be rational.

After reading the thread sevearl times I think it's clear that you are more then likly a townie. If you are then be more strategic about it next time. Read some Robert Greene or something. You have a bad habit of given wood for your enemies fires, when your a townie.
Notice how I stuck to my LLL vote, which is something I haven't done since her first game(well over a year ago). If you are truly a townie then you need to realize this is something you brought on yourself. And now the townies have nothing to go off of. The first round has been made useless.
I'd say they are both probably townies but my gut says to vote off LLL. Something about her earlier posts are really differnt to me. Maybe I'm just overthinking.
Who cares at this point. Lets just get it over with and except that this round is fucked and the townies are more then likely at a huge disadvantage.

Stay in the game hun. The great thing about Mafia is that the game is ever evolving and we all get over things very quickly like a bunch of squabling siblings. That is why our games do not get locked (I'm sure Adam has by now gone back and reviewed some of our previous games to see that this is the case, therefore there is really no need to lock up Mafia games).

Also, SFA, you are soooo on my list. You were already, and now with the above comment you have earned a top spot. This game started when I was trying to actually do something with my life besides play Mafia. Frankly I'm pretty over the kind of BS that ends up happening in Mafia sometimes and I refuse to partake in the intense back and forth that occurs in it anymore. I'll do it next game I play with Viking as well. It is different, but it is called evolution. Sometimes you have to change how you approach people in order to avoid getting sucked into their bullshit for self preservation purposes.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

It was not my intention to hurt feelings. It was my intention to defend myself by posting a conversation to which Viking referred to repeatedly. When I did post this conversation after Viking's most recent effort, I did take the effort to remove any of Viking's words from our conversation when I did. What I shared of that conversation was my end and my end alone.
I did not do so with the intent of hurting feelings, I did so with the intention of defending myself against the accusations being made against me by the very person who reported that post. I feel as if I have an entrapment situation taking place here.
If you would have read the thread, you would see that Viking himself suggested I send the PM in contention to Fawnmart for review. You would also see that, more recently, Fawnmart said my posting did not violate the rules of this game. The reason that you, as a moderator, got sucked into this was because the reporting player was desperate to survive a vote in the game. Viking has had what other players have described as a "meltdown" playing this round. This is not the first time he has thrown something resembling a hissy fit over a Mafia game. He made threats to derail this entire game by violating its rules, and it appears to me he still threatens to derail this game through other means. I don't think it fair to the other ten or so people involved to bring the whole house of cards down because of one's actions.
I posted that PM because Viking mentioned it early and often this round. After his third mention or so, I felt it best to just get the PM out there because it wasn't as bad as he made it out to seem. Had he not wanted this conversation posted, he should not have asked for it himself.
I am considering this as a warning. However, I do not feel as though a violation of Inforoo terms and conditions took place here. I would appreciate being informed as to which rule I allegedly violated. Did we have issues? Yes. Were Inforoo rules broken? I think not, but I would appreciate an explanation if you think otherwise.
If you're still serious about taking some action about this, I request that the onus of any punishment dispensed fall upon myself rather than the group of people playing this game as a whole. The only people who are even close to deserving any punishment here are Viking and/or myself. There are another ten people involved who have done nothing wrong, players who don't deserve collective punishment of calling off the game over something for which individuals should accept responsibility.
Slap my wrist if you feel you must - I don't think you care for me much anyway, given our past discussions - but don't take it out on everyone else involved with this game.
