First, this is half of the problem, but it is not so much getting tossed into the runoff, as for why, as I have explained ad nauseam in what everyone has taken as a rant. 5 players basically said that they cant figure me out and I drew 3 votes from that crowd. KDogg took the early run at me with his word counting after initial votes, and LLL switched over for "reasons" that were never explained. This all happened before we left page 2. That left NBF, SFA, and Bacon as the only ones who either had nothing to say about not figuring me out, or voting for me for an obscure reason.

Even then, the 7 way attack is fine if I can defend against it, but there is NO way to defend against the cant figure him out so lets kill him reason. NBF, you are a para-legal for the state. That would be like saying well a crime was committed and these 11 people were in the room. I know this one guy has a great poker face, so instead of trying to figure out if he did it, lets toss him in the chair and light him up. Maybe now you can understand why I was so mad.

I am not mad anymore, but I do intend to follow through if need be with regards to posting my role. It is not a threat. It is simply a statement of intention until people can say what makes me so guilty that I get to fry for getting mad.

With regards to the names and activity today, I am pretty comfortable that I came pretty damn close or hit the nail on the head. KDogg is the loud one, LLL is the mid foil and Quacker is the mole.

Quacker, to answer your earlier post, you put LLL in for the same reason I kept promoting runoffs instead of the easy kill last game. It seperates you from the other 2 and allows you to lie low if someone links KDogg and LLL.

LLL, glad to hear you got your chi in order. I finally got my BAC in order from Friday night so I feel better as well. That said, I never attacked you other than say I believe you are mafia, and as your post today shows, I think you are protesting too much when I have said nothing too damning about you yet.

KDogg, I believe you were trying too hard to be the old KDogg, and came up with a theory that did not hold water to try and take a run at me, since that was what you said you would do via pm, and in the final messages of last game.

As I said, I could be wrong, but this is what makes the most sense to me right now. Kill me and as I have stated, you will find out you killed a townie. Don't kill me and you have a shot and putting the mafia down one member day 1. Bacon, Nic, EAP, and MC, the choice is yours. Definitely knowing you are 6-3 or potentially being 7-2, but not knowing for sure if I am a townie.

I am asking you to trust me. I know that in some of your minds, I may not deserve that trust for my Friday Night drunken rant, but I am still asking because I do want us to win. The choice is in the 4 of your hands at this point. I would like to live and keep the integrity of this game intact, and I am trying to give a little here in exchange for just one of you giving a bit back.

Anyone feel free to chime in. I will check in from time to time tonight.

I would agree to it so long as the political discussion is removed from the original PMs and Fawn reviews them first.

Also with the understanding that it is just a piece to the argument, and only fit after you came out of the gates blazing at me.

LLL, the big difference is that last time I was mafia, and I knew you were a townie. Now I am a townie, and I THINK you are mafia. That is a very very big difference.

Also, as even you noted, you are playing differently. If others think it is a reach, then I am going to die. If they don't, and see beyond my posts from Friday night, then you will.

Really, Day one comes down to do people feel that

1) My Friday posts deserve Death

2) I am too difficult to read to live

3) People actually think I am mafia

OR

1) Your abnormal stacking is more suspicious

2) Lack of any reasoning after you claimed to have one, and then back filling it with saying you were trying to bait me is suspicious

3) Completely different playing behavior with quick filler posts, plus posting almost immediately after I made both of my posts today like someone texted you to come on and post is suspicious


I know I am a townie, and when I looked at the above 3 points for you, I made the guess that you are mafia. As I said, if you feel it is a reach or feel like this is some sort of rabbit hole, feel free to ignore it.

I'm logging out, I'm going to bed and then to work. Whatever happens here happens. Chances are we have two townies in the run-off. That's the way it usually is. I'm not going to get into a back and forth with Viking tonight. I've had waaaaay to chill of a weekend for the it.

I assume that the particular PM from our conversation to which you have been referring is the one I sent you on May 9th at 3:34am. Let me know if you are referring to a different PM from that discussion, which - frankly - I wish you hadn't discontinued.

I actually got a chuckle out of reading some of the political content with the context of this game in mind. As such, I sent the entire PM to Fawnmart for her approval - and asked permission to post that PM in its entirety. Seeing that I am its author and only quoted four single sentences from your end, I don't think that is entirely unreasonable.

Viking, you are the only person that I get into it with like this. I'm trying to not do that for the sake of the game because that BS from the last game fucked up the townies. I'm a townie, I'd like to see us not be fucked up by this bullshit AGAIN. This does not help us AT ALL. You are WRONG, so you are either Mafia purposely sabotaging us, or you are a townie doing it inadvertently. If that is the case, why do it man? it is the fucking first round dude. If we are both townies, there are more townies out there who will use the votes here and the kill to piece it together. No matter who they vote of between us, they will get some knowledge and can use it to win. Jesus.

Yes, I think posting the last line from that PM would be fine, but I was fairly explicit in an earlier PM that I did not want the political discourse disclosed under any circumstances. If you feel that that is the pot calling the kettle black, so be it, but I do not see where my political opinions or discourse with you have any bearing on the game.

Plus, I feel you are riding this one point to death, when I find your initial word count theory much more suspicious. The PM only reenforced my opinion regarding your earlier post.

Here was your post 5 minutes before. If you only reason is to get a rise, I will always rise. Add that to your timing, and I find I continue to find it suspicious.

Having said that, it is still a better reason than I cant figure Viking out, so I am going to vote for him.

I can't speek for everyone playing but I know I could doctor it up where you couldn't tell the if it was legit or not. From what I've seen of Bacon's Photoshoppping, he could do it too.

Ohhh, yes they will be distancing. I just don't think they would be reckless about it. No need to risk it. Remember, Quacker voted for LLL before you had your blow up. Now if it came afterwards it would make a lot more sense. They could be pretty sure that you would get voted off and that would be risky but well worth it later on in the game....

Keeping my personal beliefs private is more important to me than letting everyone know I am not a townie in an internet game. I have PMed Fawn to tell her I do not want to have that PM posted and in exchange I will keep my role PM private.

It may not seem like a big deal to you, but as I outlined in other PMs to you, my ability to do my job depends on no taking a stance as I did in that PM. I was fine with the one line being put into the thread for the record, but whether you intended to or not, you have made it personal, since not everyone has the ability or inclination to discuss politics on here as you do.

Instead of going there again, as KDogg said, it was banter that predates this game. Lets leave it at that.

First, as I have said 3 times in a row now, and in the original post referencing it, it was never the smoking gun. It was a piece of background info related to your Page 2 post.

Second, I reported this to the mods and asked for it to be removed, since even redacted, you are responding to comments I made supposedly in confidence.

It is a threat. That's exactly a threat. Even if you intend to follow through with it, it's a threat. What's more, you've basically said, let me get through this runoff or I will ruin the game. It's a threat, and it's childish.


I've thought a number of times in day 1 that I had a pretty good idea who the three mafia were, and I've never been right. I'm not saying one or more or all three of those people aren't mafia, but if you are really just a townie, I'd say there's a pretty good chance you are dead wrong about one or more of these people.
