I definitely have had a head cold the past two days, but I haven't been sick or nauseous or anything. I also picked a jelly bean-sized lump of coal out of my nose on the ride home.
Other than that I can't complain though. I always get a head cold after Roo.
I've had the normal head cold but I spent the better portion of Tuesday night/Wednesday morning face down in the toilet. Thought it was something I ate once home, but maybe more to it?
I have a ridiculous head cold! My nose is SO stuffed, and I just keep blowing shit out of it.. UGH. Worst way to wake up after roo, at 5 a.m, and having to go to work.
yup, same here. I felt my first symptom while driving home Sunday night. scratchy throat, head cold symptoms ever since. I feel some better today, so hopefully its almost done.

Last year as we pulled out Sunday night we realized all three of us had colds and spent the whole ride home feeling them get progressively worse. This year I definitely had some stinging in my nethers the first couple days after while peeing. Knew I shouldn't have skinny dipped that porto.
Typical cough, lingering but clearing. Gigantic blister on the ball of my left foot is drying and healing well. Dreams of partying were so intense it didn't feel like I was getting any rest. They're starting to subside.
This was the first year that I ever really got sick after 'roo. Bit of a headache, stuffed up sinuses and a pretty bad sore throat. Also a bit of a temperature/fever. But it only lasted a day and I'm back to normal.

Yeppers. I got a touch of a head cold/sinus infection combo pack. I chalked the sinus issue up to the dust, and the head cold up to wandering around in the cold rain in only a T-shirt and shorts after Phish and Monday morning loading out of TO.
OH Wow! This is off topic but typing out that last paragraph jarred a memory. My car was parked in Pod 1 and I had to get back to the arch to get my gear. I told a flag guy "I'm trying to get back over the the arch, my gear is in tent only, can I make a right here?"....he doesn't respond but just flags me to the right. After that I didn't see ANY more people directing traffic. I had no idea which way I was suppose to go so I eventually made another right and found myself DRIVING RIGHT THRU THE MIDDLE OF CENTEROO! It was sooo surreal!! I'm in my car looking out the window thinking....That's where I raged it Friday night at Flying Lotus!....Oh and that's where I saw Alice Cooper!....HA Bobble heads!!!....It was really really the trippiest way I could have imagined spending my last minutes on the farm!
Has anyone else ever done that who wasn't working the fest?
I can't believe i had forgotten that! THANKS Bonnarrhea!!!
I couldn't figure out why so many people wore bandannas around their faces. Is it because the dust? This crazy sinus shit is making it look really smart right now.

2nd worst RooFlu out of 6 Bonnaroos... 2nd only to 2007. I wasn't as persistent about wearing my ninja bandana as I was last year. Our RV was on a pretty dusty road.
Started with a sore throat Sunday and Monday... passed out Monday night and thought I was dying when I woke up Tuesday. Fever, chest pain and a dry cough. Mike D fed me soup and gatorade by the bucketfuls and today is the first day I've been out of the bed. The gunk in my chest is finally starting to breakup. I finally don't feel like an elephant is standing on my chest. In the throes of the worst of my sickness I questioned whether it was worth it or not, but now as I think back to all the laughing I did all weekend, I know that it is/was worth it. Of course I'll be back, next year it'll be VIP RV for sure.
