Phutureprimitive.
Witnessed a Phutureprimitive set here in San Francisco in early October; opening for Shpongle Masquerade tour. So wonderful. Blew my mind. This is the dj we need on the farm. The visuals are nonstop beauty and magic. Just a taste. Explore your mind.
I saw phutureprimative open for shpongle as well, I didn't hate it but he didn't impress me either. However it was the first stop of the masquerade tour.
Paper Diamond I think would be cool. I would be inclined to see Deadmau5 as well.
I am hoping Pretty Lights comes as well (bring on the hate.) I am guessing if they did it would 12 30 - 2 on Friday night...which would be a packed out tent.
The only way I'd be cool with a shpongle return is if it's the full band.
When I did an email interview with Simon Posford for Moogfest, he said Raja Ram has been having some health issues recently that have kept him from performing/touring.

Damn, I was wondering why they only played bisco last year as the full band. They'd be a great get for any festival.

Yeah, for Moogfest this year, they didn't annotate it was a "dj set" on the initial line-up. This led a ton of people to ask on twitter and facebook about if this meant it was a full band. Some poor bastard at AC said it was (probably not realizing what this meant at all), and people went nuts, both when they announced this and when they retracted it a little bit later.

I just saw Phutureprimitive last night for the first time. He really was amazing! He would be a great fit to the farm. I need to see him again soon.
Also, once he was done and Minnesota started playing. He came out to the dance floor and danced with my group of friends the rest of the night. It was great!
Haha i was thinking this dudes kinda deadmau5y...does this mean we couldnt get deadmau5 so we went witj a close 2nd
On the contrary, I hope it means we got a supporting act for the return of deadmau5. But, that's just me (getting myself way too excited for something that won't happen)
i saw wolfgang at camp bisco 2011 and thought his set was the best of the weekend or close second to ghostland. no elaborate lighting either, just a solid dj set throughout.
So will I lose cool points if I admit I'm mega excited for Wolfgang? Sure I can be an EDM snob from time to time but I've always enjoyed his shows. He lived in Austin for a while so I was able to catch him a few times. His new stuff can be cheesy but some of his older stuff is really fun. Glad to have him.
Does anyone else get the feeling Wolfgang is maybe a sign that we are getting a dance stage this year? He isn't big enough to hold down a LN Which and I don't really think he's a name you stick in a LN tent, don't ask me why, I just have a feeling. I love Wolfgang, but compared to Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Major Lazer, etc. I don't think he'd be a perfect fit for a LN tent.
