Anyone think we have a chance of getting Alex Metric on the farm? He has shows in NY and Toronto in early June, so he'll be in North America at the time of Roo. I'm not sure if he's big enough to hold down a tent spot though, he might only be an option if Roo decides to go with a EDM focused stage.

The way that these guys are touring and who they are touring with I can see both Griz and Gramatik coming down. Probably Thursday like Mimosa or maybe get a tent LN against a Which stage act. I honestly don't know how popular they are but I keep seeing their names pop up everywhere.
If Griz and Gramatik both come down, it's known as Grizmatik. If Dominic from Big G comes down with them, it's known at The Three G's. I get to see all of them on NYE

Are most of us under the impression that we will only get one big EDM artist this year? Between Deadmau5, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Kaskade, etc there are plenty of big festivals draws, especially since EDM is so popular right now. But I can't see Roo giving more than one LN Which spot to EDM. After Bassnectar's overflowing tent in 2011, would Roo put any of the above artists in a tent this year?
I guess a big unknown is the possible EDM tent/stage this year. But it would have to be bigger than the regular tents (a la Perry's at Lolla) to fit any of the big DJs.
Any TNGHT fans out there? This seemed like the right place to ask.

i saw wolfgang at camp bisco 2011 and thought his set was the best of the weekend or close second to ghostland. no elaborate lighting either, just a solid dj set throughout.
I was there too! That show was awesome. I'm pumped for this set!

PLEASE - no more talks about Avicii or Calvin Harris as being "good live electronic music acts." They both run through a lame static setlist and appeal to the masses who just think it's cool to like dance music. Would they draw a crowd? yes. Is their live show unique/exciting/worth the money? no.
[Go ahead and toss Aoki, Guetta, Afrojack, Dada Life, Martin Solveig, etc into the same bucket..... would be a waste of our precious EDM budget at bonnaroo ;D]
