Good to see Bonnaroo finally came to their senses and jettisoned all this bullshitt. Cheers!
HAHA. Remember. Didn't the Lunar Stage come later?
I do agree that I don't see all the hate. There's like 10 EDM artists and 1 metal artist, and me, Whoreshack and krunchykat are happy as sh*t with the line-up, it seems.
Surprised not to see Bassnectar on there. Not going to lie BUT the EDM is still stellar. Like someone else said Pretty Lights (assuming he is bringing a lot of new music like he said), A-Trak and Boys Noize (Don't miss this guy...will be awesome) are all really solid.

I just started getting into Clockwork...you guys might think its kinda bro-y, but it'll be a lot of fun on the farm!
And for those of us wanting trap, his side-project is RL Grime.
RL Grime is really good stuff.
The EDM really is balanced within the lineup I feel like. Sure there was names that could have been there but overall look at the entire lineup...it's stellar.

BOYS NOIZE! He takes you to another world filled with heavy, dark, distorted, techno-driven beats and then snaps you back to reality with some super catchy housey hooks.
And yea, I think Porter Robinson is total cheese but it will still be a lot of fun, if you're 25 and under. High energy and actual melodies. Think trancey electro.
Wolfgang Gartner is great electro, from Austin, TX. He is a pretty talented producer and also very high energy.
Four Tet is one for the SBTRKT crowd. Different and very good, he is more of a live act blends his own style of dub-influenced electronica/jazzy/grimeyness.
AraabMuzik basically has 2 MPC's that he uses as samplers to play chopped up bits from Skrillex-type-artist tunes into full sets.
Clockwork does a lot of progressive house and mash-ups. I don't know much about him other than that.
I am unfamiliar with Holy Ghost! and Conspirator.
Feels like I'm missing someone...
A-Trak is Kanye's DJ, he'll bring the housey/progressive beats for sure and has usually had some stage gimmicks to go along with his sounds.

This write up is really not accurate.
I think this is very accurate...
Boys Noize and Wolfgang - spot on description. Both are going to be incredible on the farm. The Wolfgang tent (assuming tent) will be PACKED Porter is at the forefront of cheese, not expecting much along the lines of trancey though, seen him 3 times, very heavy actually. Nothing new or exciting here. AraabMusik will be annoying and if you liked skrillex last year, fine, you'll enjoy this. Pure ear assault, little talent Clorkwork - really hope massups do not get played...
This did leave me wanting more though. Doubt we'll get Bassnectar since PL will be taking the Skrillex spot and NO WAY Bassnectar could play a tent. fingers still crossed...

I think it's funny how people keep complaining there's not enough electronic, when in truth there's more than most of the past few years. I don't know if these people just are not recognizing the names, or if they're expecting the same number of electronic artists as lolla, coachella, etc. To be honest, there's a few TOO many, to the point where it may be dominating the latenights. I think they put together a pretty sweet EDM lineup this year, in my personal opinion.

The only thing I have ever seen/heard from Araabmuzik is where he chopped up a Skrillex song and "reworked" it on his MPC's. Maybe you could point out something else/helpful for people to check out instead of just shooting them down?
