I'd never really known what trap was, so I did a quick Google search. I've realized its not my thing. Would not find that fun to dance to. I guess I'm glad we didn't get those trap artists.

If they add an EDM stage lineup, i could see them having him on top of that maybe. When they had the Lunar stage or whatever as artist additions they had The Crystal Method. (My apologies if the Crystal Method-Basnectar size comparison is way off. I don't always understand what draws the masses)
Doubtful man. Thats not a name you dont put on your initial poster.
It is if you're A) Releasing an EDM stage/tent with Bassnectar as the headliner B) you want to keep something in your pocket for when ticket sales slump after the initial release.
Thee only issue I have with the date is that it says he will play Thursday and he is scheduled to play a festival on Friday in Chicago. I think these are just placement dates since Bassnectar is too big of a name for Thursday. My assumption is he would play Saturday night if I were going by this app.
This line up would be pretty tasty if I wasn't living in Atlanta. People like Flasstradamus, RL Grime, UZ, Heroes X Villians, UZ, Break Science, Crizzly and Designer Drugs all play here 5 or more a year.

I thought about this as well but every single date is correct and up to date currently so it would have to be a weird error.

Major Lazer was the most hype set last year even though Skrillex and Flying Lotus did their best to try and take that away. What will be this years most hype set? And is Bassnectar coming to Roo or not? And any word on Excision, Kill the Noise, or Knife Party? I cant fucking wait to be back at the farm.

Eh, I still don't think there's going to be a full-on EDM stage. I think that you could see BassLights on the Which one night, though.
Also, trap is the new brostep. Trap music is dead, long live trap music.
Damn...I would have never thought of that. Is this doable with their stage setups though?
edit* Would Bassnectar be billed higher than Pretty Lights? That would be a first for Bonnaroo having two EM acts in the top 10.
Bassnectar would definitely be billed higher than Pretty Lights, which is why I'm kind of skeptical about him being added to the lineup. But honestly I'm kind of surprised Pretty Lights is #6. Oh well, I'm planning on going to roo regardless and if Bassnectar gets added to the lineup that will be incredible
If you check the Bassnectar app now, the Bonnaroo date has been removed. Whether this means someone at Bonnaroo caught it and told them to take it down until the announcement, or it was just a clerical error to begin with...that remains to be seen. Fingers crossed he shows up on the farm!

I have a feeling that if Bassnectar is added his name will be right beside Pretty Lights on the lineup, and it will be advertised as bass lights. Just to change it up from a couple of years ago when they were both on the lineup.
