If you check the Bassnectar app now, the Bonnaroo date has been removed. Whether this means someone at Bonnaroo caught it and told them to take it down until the announcement, or it was just a clerical error to begin with...that remains to be seen. Fingers crossed he shows up on the farm!
I asked someone who would know about this and didn't get a response. If it was just an error it would be easy to say...Oh it was a mistake but silence to me means they are just wanting it removed until the announcement is made.

Well, it's official. Bassnectar just tweeted that he will not be returning to the farm this year. But now that he hasn't been there for 2 years there's no reason he shouldn't be back for 2014!

I don't doubt that he is not playing, but there are two things that a weird about that tweet.
1) Bassnectar is just him, right? Why does he saw "we" are not playing at Bonnaroo? 2) It's not "a listing site", sir. It's "my listing site".
Correct, the performing portion of Bassnectar is just Lorin. I think he usually uses "we" to give some recognition to the whole team of people that make his show/tour possible. That's my impression at least. And yes, I chuckled at "a listing site" instead of "my app".
Read that earlier...still a little bit surprising. Looked like everything was shaping up for him to be a big add. Like someone else said thought the late nights are already shaping up to be crazy. Probably for the best to avoid that conflict this year.

Yes, you're correct. Lorin always makes a point that it's not only him who makes the Bassnectar experience what it is today.
So now that the Bassnectar speculation is over, how do you think EDM additions will shape up? Mostly undercard additions or is there a huge name that you think will get booked?

Infected Mushroom is at Coachella, I believe.

Plastikman would send Roo into a complete black hole, still trying to get over his Coachella 2010 set. I wish we could get EOTO, that would satisfy both the jam band people and the EDM heads.
