Beirut on the top line is a bigger shocker to me than James Blake's positioning.
With the hype machine that is sleigh bells I figured they would be above him. I also thought against me! And dinosaur Jr. were both low. Beirut doesn't surprise me they got a high billing at sasquatch and a really good spot at coachella and also have more than one full length album. Really happy James Blake is getting the credit he deserves.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Somehow, I have managed to completely avoid Beirut...not sure what to think after sampling a couple of songs. I will tell you the band that I absolutely hate on this lineup though: The Pains of being Full of Farts. I went to see twin Shadow and attempted to check them out afterwards, but could only tolerate two songs before having to get out of there.

Beirut have been billed really high on this whole touring cycle. They subheadlined Sasquatch on Sunday, closed a stage at Lolla last year, closed a tent at Coachella this year (and Bonnaroo last year), and are also subheadlining MusicfestNW next to Passion Pit and Silversun Pickups, both of whom are arguably much bigger bands. Considering those placements, this isn't too out of place.

Pretty sick lineup. I'd love to see Refused and mostly Moonface!! Someone has to report back on how awesome Moonface is live. I'm a huge Spencer Krug fan and that's probably my favorite project of his so far.

There are soapy things that are good about this lineup. Too bad it is so far for me. I'll just keep reminding myself that I'm sure that Fun Fun Fun will top it.

Besides the ones you listed, Hoodoo, I was glad to see The Men, The Soft Pack, Wild Flag, Twin Shadow, Chromatics, Purity Ring, Atlas Sound, Givers, Cloud Nothings, Dam Funk, and my pretend girlfriend Jenny Lee Lindberg's band Warpaint.
I really want to catch Black Mountain live one day. I always miss them.

Yeah, I've seen them a bunch. I know those guys, they played a party at my shop last summer. They really embody the Los Angeles sound right now, they are gonna be a big deal in the next few months. They have the full length coming out in November-ish. All produced by Nick Waterhouse.
I wonder if Tom Gabel will be dressed as a woman for that show.
The transition it appears has already been put in effect. (S)he has changed her twitter, and has been outwardly performing as a female since the announcement (they are touring with The Cult right now).
So to answer your question, Tom Gabel will not be there dressed as a woman. Laura Jane will be there dressed as herself.
