Also added - Cristela Alonzo whom I've never heard of, but Google tells me she's a comedienne also known for playing Latin Woman #2 on an episode of Sons of Anarchy.
I hope they stop putting huge comedy acts in the comedy tent. It makes seeing people like Tosh an impossibility for me.
I think that they could easily make the Comedy tent bigger. Add enough seating so that the tickets become unnecessary. Allows more people in the comedy tent, smaller crowds for shows, and people don't have to miss hours of music and entertainment waiting in line. It's a simple solution.

Today's version of the comedy tent is actually much larger than it used to be. It was overhauled maybe 2 or 3 years ago, so I doubt they'd upgrade it again so soon.

The comedy tent is awesome. I've never missed "hours" of music waiting for a show. Maybe part of a set waiting to get the pass and then I usually just walk in when the show is starting. I'm not one of the people who needs to be front row so I love the comedy tent set up.

Yes, I've also not missed hours waiting in line, but the people who wanted to see Conan did. And a lot of those people waiting in line didn't even get to go inside the tent. They had to watch it in the Cinema tent. Others waited in line for hours and didn't even get a ticket, and that's with Conan doing, I think it was, 2-4 shows over two days. I mean it's just really simple to make the tent larger than it is, so that you don't need to wait in line for a ticket then wait in line for a show. Even you can agree that you'd rather just walk right in as the show starts instead of waiting in line to get a ticket then just walk in when the show starts.

That was the year that I missed but I'd agree that putting Conan in the comedy tent was a mistake. It wasn't a regular stand up show but a full-stage performance so I thought it was strange to do that. I would have been really annoyed by missing that.

Absolutely make it a tent like the others already.
Nah, needs to be enclosed IMO. Some comedians who have played Bonnaroo (and other festivals) have talked about how doing comedy outside can be tougher and doesn't translate as well. There's enough sound-bleed already when inside the tent that trying to hear a guy tell jokes in a regular outdoors tent would likely be ridiculously hard.
I figure if they are going to keep the Comedy tent as a permanent thing and now that they own the land they should work on putting a more solid structure to help with the outside noise. Almost every year there's comments from the comedians about what music is playing outside because it tends to throw some of them off from their set.

It's quite obvious Roo is having success with the comedy tent, and it's here to stay. I think it's time to at least expand it and give it some quality sound proofing.

You're probably right! I don't go for comedy anyways. I go for the music. Even if Dave chapelle was there I probably wouldn't bother with it. Only Will Ferrell could make me consider it!

I absolutely agree that it needs to stay inclosed. Part of the appeal to me at least is being able to sit down in some air conditioning for an hour or so. I just think they should upgrade the amount of seating.

I would hope if Chappelle was on the lineup they'd give him the main stage like Chris Rock in 2008. If he was in the comedy tent there would be riots.
Can anyone else see the 4 comedians added to the end of the lineup? A friend told me they could not see the updates with IE or Firefox. I feel like they didn't mean to leak it because David Cross' profile page isn't even complete:
