This is a cool, little fest in Lexington, Ky, September 21-23rd, put on by the local, college radio station. Last year was a blast with Swans, Pelican, Ty Segall, Psychedelic Furs and Tom Tom Club. Various venues, 3 days/$40-50. Free camping and candycorn in my backyard for all Inforoosters.

TICKET UPDATE! Early bird Boomslang tickets will be on sale on Monday morning, July 23 - $35 for a 4-day festival pass. Starting Monday, July 30, they will go up to $70 for the general public. On July 30, we will also make a line-up announcement that will make you wish you had gotten your tickets while they were $35. We have a very limited allotment of early bird tickets so don't sleep on this!

OH FUCK !!! That's all I needed to hear. I would happily pay $70 just to see them. I've always wanted to catch a live performance and until today thought it was one of those things, like Frank Zappa, I would never see. Gotta get my ass to Lexington no matter what!

I've got plenty of couch/floorspace and a bigass back-yard with fire pit if anyone wants to keep the weekend real cheap. Everything imaginable is permitted at Camp Whoreslang.

Goddammit! I wanna do this but I wanna do Starry Nights the next weekend too. I just don't think I can do both. Who all is hitting this up? Would I be missing much if I didn't make it to Lexington until Friday?

The Music Tapes, who will also be playing, is a key member of Neutral Milk Hotel & The Elephant 6 Collective. So, I'm naively hoping/praying for a full-on reunion set.
