What do we have to do to make sure this happens at Roo this year?
And would it be asking to much to ensure they play at night? They played at the hottest point of the day during Lolla and the guy even mentioned a couple times it felt like his pedal was melting. You could tell the heat was affecting them. Thursday night would be fine, but I think the one hour late night a la Black Angels a couple years ago would be perfect.

I love Tame Impala but I feel like people are really really overestimating their popularity on here. I'd be surprised if they play a stage at any point throughout the weekend. I feel like there's a good chance it's Thursday night or mid-day tent another day with a decent chance of an early late night spot (probably my preference).

Like people were thinking that Foster The People would never be billed top 10?
I think if Tame Impala plays, they'd be top 25. So Ben Folds Five spot seems like a good fit.
A comparison between Tame Impala and Foster the People fails on so many different levels.
I did not compare them. I just mentioned that last year there was a band that was billed way higher than expected. I think Tame Impala could be that band this year.
I thought the Foster The People argument was more about whether they deserved it rather than whether it would happen. Either way, I see what you are saying Manders, but I don't see them playing a stage at this point unless it is a super early slot (which would suck).
They were pretty far down on the Lolla billing list last year (in the 50s), but that was before Lonerism came out. I think they'd definitely break the top 25 now (just like Gary Clark Jr would).
Maybe I'm overestimating their pull and therefore their scheduling position because I see this show as a major highlight for me this year and I hope they play in a prime time (according to my personal preference) spot

Something like 12-1 late night Fri. or Sat. after a sh*t headliner while there’s uns uns on the Which would be perfect and I actually think somewhat realistic. With the way the undercard is already shaping up I’m expecting a ton of conflicts.
