Kanye Headlining. and mire announced
Also joining West in the festival's debut lineup is The Offspring, Keane, Cocoon Heroes, rock legend Lou Reed, Erick Morillo, and Bob Sinclar. But seeing how this is going to be a two-day, multi-stage festival, there's no doubt that many more acts will be announced.

I thought it was strange they never made an official announcement
Then 11:00 pm rolls in, and they finally speak up. But all they do is link the new times article that we've already seen. What about ticket info? Don't those go on sale tomorrow, according to the Made in America flyers?
No matter... Given this initial line-up, I'm not going to consider going unless tickets are under $70 for the weekend, and I'm guessing they'll be AT LEAST double that.

Mannn.. I've been waiting for Modest Mouse to come to Miami for years now. It's too bad they ended up coming as the cherry on top of a bowl of shit. So far that's the only thing that will make me regret missing this festival

Living in northeast Tennessee no way I'm even considering this but I don't think it deserves the hate. Kanye and Lou Reed are real high on my bucket list. Modest Mouse, MIA, Feist, and Bloc Party are all shows I haven't seen and would have some level of excitement for. Plus Moby, Miike Snow, and Santigold all put on damn good shows. My point is not a bad lineup and if I was in Laggy's shows I would be going no question.

Seriously, this isn't a bad start at all. I was totally in for hating on it, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Kanye, Fun., Offspring, Lou Reed, Bloc Party, MIA, Moby, and Modest Mouse. If it's somewhat cheap and/or the rest of the lineup is just as good, I'll give it serious consideration.

This line-up isn't terrible. But as it stands, the only act I REALLY want to see REALLY bad is Modest Mouse. Santigold, Bloc Party, and MIA are appealing also. I wouldn't mind seeing Kanye but not as huge of a fan as many on this board. I'll need to see ticket prices but I'm willing to be they'll be over $200, or at LEAST $150. No way in hell could I justify paying that for this.
If they make some serious quality additions, or if tickets are FAR cheaper than I expect, I may reconsider
Edit: Oh, and on top of all that this is happening Art Basel weekend. That's a huge city wide cultural event, with lots of awesome shit, mostly free, that I would be missing out on if I went to this.

Glad they banked on some heavy hitters like Kanye and Modest Mouse. Sadly I can't go to this festival. Hopefully they rake in even better people next year

$149 isn't TERRIBLE. If the lineup still included Modest Mouse I might have even considered it. I kind of hope they do reasonably priced 1 day tickets down the road

UR1 reallly sucks with promotions, social media, and straight out communicating to their fans at all
They quietly made some additions today.. you'd think they'd make it into an announcement and get some press and excitement going. But instead they post it up on their website without telling anyone, and no one notices
They added Ghostland Observatory, Dan Deacon, Dubfire, Carl Craig, and Kevins.
