I had the BEST TIME this weekend! Fawn and Don and their household went over the top to make it awesome, and I appreciate them so much. All the food every day, driving us around AND taking care of renting transportation, and having a place to stay - guys, I can't thank you enough.
I loved meeting and getting more acquainted with everyone. I miss you all terribly!
Well guys I have made it home, slept, and made it to work! The Monday travel plans didn’t work out quite as planned as my Prov to Dulles flight was delayed causing me to miss my Dulles to Nash flight Monday night. I got put up in the Hilton in DC for the night (1:00 AM to 5:00 AM, if you call that a night) but I made it home.
First and foremost, I would like to give my most heartfelt and warmest thanks to Fawn and Don for making this incredible weekend happen. I have been to a bunch of festivals and a bunch of hangout’s with friends, but this was absolutely hands down the best fest/hanging weekend I have ever had! PERIOD.I couldn’t think of a single person who should not have, or vice versa, who should have been there, that would have made the weekend better. It was a perfect combination of people and personalities that, I think meshed so well!
Thank you Fawn and Don (Is there an echo in here?) the two of you are amazing! (Fawn’s is gonna be my logistics manager for my flower business!!!)
Dan (d’cat) – Anytime you and I get together to hang out, YOU KNOW there is gonna be some beer drank! Dude, we didn’t drink it all, but we tried!!!
Bunny – Love YOU, that is all!
Scrog – you were one of the people I was most looking forward to meeting and hanging out with this weekend, man you did not disappoint! I love your sense of humor! Scrog has a way of saying the most smartass thing you have ever heard, and then following it up with a smile that absolutely tells you he is joking. I love it!
Sausage – Another one I was really looking forward to meeting! I am glad we got to hang out and get to know each other better! You are truly one cool dude! And the poster absolutely rocked!!
Kyle – The other person that I was really looking forward to meeting! As with Josh, I am really glad we got to hang and get to know each other! Stay cool man! I hope to see you soon at something else!
I of course can’t address everyone, it would take two pages, but a few thoughts:
Back Seat Van B club wins! Bonnie – SSSHHHHH!!!! D’cat says some crazy things! Are you gonna put balls in your mouth? RAGING B!TCH HAS 8.5 ABV – That is some good stuff!!! Dan can control the weather most of the time, but he met his match in Jim James! Gary Clark Jr is the new Jimi Hendrix Saugies and Mushies are AWESOME!!!!
EVERYONE who was there, THANK YOU ALL so much for making this a great weekend. I not only feel like I have been to a great festival, hung out with the coolest people on earth, but I also got a free therapy session this weekend. Emotionally, I feel better than I have in a very long time. Quack Club, the hosts and everyone there REALLY has restored some of my faith in people.
Although I was only there for one night, a HUGE thank you to Fawn and Don for your hospitality. It was really nice to get to hang with everybody, even briefly.
P.S. Fawn and/or Don I will give you a call to facilitate the delivery of my posters...due to my absent mindedness. :-)
Roofan- I can't even look at a picture of Skrillex without hearing your voice. I'm taking my shiz and going home or driving to Mars in my space ship to play for aliens cuz they understand me. You're a funny ass motherquacker and your storytelling is top notch.
One of the funniest things this weekend is Roofan's Skrillex impression. So amazing.
I'm not a DJ, I'm a producer dammit. You earthlings just dont understand me!

Whether or not you guys come.....I am so down for this. It seems like a once in a lifetime special show kinda thing just based on this. I feel like the Felice Brothers will pop up there as well.

I'm incredibly jealous but I'm guessing it would be about a 400$ flight, which is a good bit too much for one show.

Any info on tickets and when they go on sale?
I called Carnegie and they said Aug 27th
Kat and I will be there for this. I contacted a friend to ask about pre sale info. I'll let you know. We'll get tix together.

This is during Moogfest
I have a hotel booked for Moogfest, but I think I am going to cancel and to this show instead. More up my alley, musically.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
In the next day or two I will post all of the pics of lost and founds. Attendees can than PM me with their best guess on the owner of each item left behind. Let's see who can remember details of the weekend No asking your peeps. Most correct answers wins a fabulous prize
Totally left behind the dress that I tore off in a wet, drunken stupor on Saturday and a flask... I know who said PM it to you.. but I thought they were fitting items for Bonzai to leave behind.
So we told everyone treat this like the bonaroo walls.. all sheets on the line are fair game, spray paint provided. Rumor has it one of the QClubbers made the mistake of hanging their sheet on the line and now has happy bunny sheets.
Oops! Luckily they were my "festie air mattress sheets" and nothing nice.
