We are starting with Trampled at the pavilion stage. Would like to meet up with whoever is there, Bunny?, and make a little group! Staying there up until M83 plays, our friend wants to see all of ZZTop so it'd be cool if he had some inforoo folks to hang with during that- anyone catching all of ZZ?
It turns out I might be driving 12 hours to spend a weekend in Maryland, FreeFest included. I'd love to meet up with some of you if it ends up happening.
I've never seen Santigold, but Alabama Shakes bring it live. I don't think you can go wrong either way.
im going with santigold. saw them both at roo, shakes were great, but i thought santigold was one of the best shows of the weekend.
also, i saw the shakes again at central park and it was the same exact show as roo. same exact show, but i guess thats what happpens when you only have 10 songs
I think our lovely brunch queen, Bunny, who happens to be a local, would have some good options for us!
Columbia is a super suburban town, not much choice of places with booze in the morning. I researched Brunch places the last couple of years (not this year, I'm lazy - anyone looked recently?) and the best is Eggspectation. It's about 5-6 miles from the venue. And has a full bar and decent food.

I can say from experience that the later you go the more horrific traffic will be. The schedule will come out next week sometime, might help folks decide how early they want to get there.

What chances do I have of leaving ZZ-top 15 or 20 minuets early, going to M83, and then coming back for Jack White?
I assume I would just have a terrible spot for Jack White, and prob M83 as well.
I would think yes, bad spots, but we are gonna leave ZZ for M83 and try to get a decent spot and hopefully make it back to our friend for Jack White. I hate pushing my way through a crowd, always feel like an inconsiderate a-hole, and I can't really muscle my way thru anything, weighing in at 115 lbs.
