Hitting this just for Jack White, although ZZ Top is a nice bonus. The EDM portion of the lineup is just the same shit that was at every other festival this year.l
A fairly decent lineup, if you haven't already seen most of the artists multiple times this year. It'll be nice to see M83 and Jack White again...this time with "Superfan Hipster Thor" & most of last year's Moogfest crew.
I wonder if they knew which artist they were announcing. Hipster Thor announcing Skrillex would have been the greatest thing ever.
He had no idea if his image would definitely be used, and if it was being used, who it would be used for. He was a little nervous that something like Skrillex would happen.
Hipster Thor needs to wake up and check the lineup/Inforoo already!

Never seen Jack White or M83, so that would be worth the trip by itself. Saw ZZ Top about 4 years ago, definitely want see them again and same thing with the Alabama Shakes at bonnaroo...want see them again.

Yeah, as Bonz said, I knew there was a decent chance I'd be on the lineup announcement, but I had zero idea which artist I'd be announcing, nor did I know any artists who'd be on the bill. I was just hoping it wasn't Skrillex because I just KNEW I'd never hear the end of that on here haha. I don't even know who Penguin Prison is; listening to them on Spotify know and it sounds pretty good. I'm pumped about this lineup!!! I'm suuuuuuuuuuper excited to see M83 again, haven't seen them since last year's Moogfest and they totally slayed at that show.
I'm hoping being on the lineup announcement means I get two free tix before the presale, but I've yet to hear back from the Virgin Mobile peeps on that.

I haven't been to Virgin Fest in several years, do they still have several stages set up, or will everything be either on the mainstage or in the dance forest?
I'm on the fence right now. I don't enjoy Skrillex or Jack White, but M83/Nas/Ben Folds Five is pulling me. It's a pretty decent drive for one day, as well.

Last year, there were 2 main stages and then the dance forest stage.
