So I'd sign up for their email updates if you haven't already. Mrs. toml30 and I are still on the fence for this. It'd be the first one we've missed in years, but the date stinks. If the lineup helps deconflict ACL then we may be there anyway.
Anyone know where to sign up for their mailing list? I cannot find it on the website or facebook.
When I click to try and find out where to sign up it gives a dummy address. I can't find a link to sign up. The only thing I can think is to send an email to info@virginmobilelive.com and ask how to get email updates. I'm guessing they want buzz with twitter followers so they're trying to entice people to get their updates through twitter (?)
Anyway, if that doesn't work, I'll just keep posting what I get here.
Think I may try to do this instead of Counterpoint if I can get tickets. There is an Oktoberfest thing I want to go to in Baltimore the following weekend, so I could just stay the week and do both, kill two birds with one stone. Not getting my hopes to high though, I remember the free tickets lasted about 30 seconds last year.
Been to tickeyfly.com, couldn't find anything on it.
Anybody?
Lineup comes out tomorrow. Everyone says the free tickets go super-fast, and you have to have a little luck on getting one. Would love if someone could share some info on how to attempt to get one or two!

the last couple years, they've gone "on sale" the Friday or Saturday of the week, and the presale, if I remember correctly, has been Wednesday or Thursday
Register with Ticketfly if not already done so. Be logged in at a few minutes before the time. Keep hitting refresh to the point of causing a DDOS incident. Pray you're lucky.

Lineup is suppose to come out tomorrow, but there is nothing on ticketfly about it. When you look up events at the Merriweather the last thing they have is Animal Collective on 10/2.

No real big surprises besides ZZ Top? I know I don't follow music news as much as most of you, but I had no idea that they were still touring. I guess my dad will be jealous!
