I vaguely recall texting with a certain person while she was at Moog last year, and I was at Voodoo - about how INSANELY COLD it was at both locations... I think I will enjoy the low 70s!!! Given that last year in New Orleans, I was wrapping up at night in my festiblanket ((screw sitting, I'd rather be warm!"). It was a treat to watch Snoop while bundled up like a burrito. ;D

But this year, I'll be warming a bar seat while bundled up in fleece, fuzzy socks & all manner of cozy clothing.
LOL Bonz! I actually did some searching on amazon for a black and white baseball t so I wont have to spend $26 on one from American Apparel. Im gonna order one tonight I think. Then at least for panda day I'll have the main bits of my costume. I have no idea what to wear on saturday. Any of you other ladies doing costume on Saturday? I may just wear black and white and be a panda again. I'll certainly be rocking the hood ALL weekend.

Last year it was beyond a wee bit nipply! I'm hoping to be better prepared this year... although without the Animoog Playground, it probably wouldn't be that bad... I'm usually okay in transit, but seeing like 3-4 shows in a row outside in that weather?? BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I have NOOO idea.... I don't even know what I'll wear on Thursday or Sunday never mind the costumes... 98% of my clothes are sundresses and work clothes. So that leaves me wiiiiiitthhhhh? And I hate shopping.

Yeah, I'm gonna have issue with what to wear bc of the cold, too. I get hot WAY easily, but if we're partially outside and partially inside, and it's cold, and it rains....... I'm lost! I envision a larger bag than normal for clothing options for this weekend trip.

Srsly, don't overpack! It will be warm during the day. There aren't any shows then. Jeans & a tank w/a hoodie or fleece. No need for lots o' layers.
At night, you'll have costumes on. When the shows are over & it's cold and rainy late at night, you'll be indoors at the hotel. No need for umpteen layers then either!

I am having the same issue! I have nothing warm enough for moog, and I really hate jeans.
Hoping to get away with dressing not TOO warm since it won't be insanely cold. If there's anything I hate more than wearing non-open toed shoes, it's bundling up in too many clothes on top of it. Ew.

^ How am I even friends with you & Bonnie? SRSLY?!? My favorite fall/winter outfit is jeans, fuzzy socks w/clogs, a sweater & a scarf, and a fleece jacket or vest. Oh, and a hat & gloves.
Damn... I'm the L.L. Bean catalog incarnate. All that's missing is the 2.5 Labrador Retrievers and a bearded guy chopping down a Christmas tree.

Mayo if you have academy, dick's sporting goods, etc. they should have baseball t for cheaper.

Love the weather will have in Asheville. Perfect. Jeans, t-shirt, my grey zip up hoody with faux lamb liner, and my ropers. :-) Yes, boots are perfectly acceptable in Asheville...not so much in uppity Washington DC.
Yeah, the time has really flown by since I bought my ticket... I've got my stay more or less planned out, but I still don't feel that I have braced myself enough for what's to come.
Looking forward to this weather, though! Fall in the mountains is beautiful.
If you're coming from the west, and have the time, take the scenic route through the smoky mountains, gatlinburg, over the mountains, through cherokee, etc. the leaves and views are awesome.
