It looks like they've already given me a room number: 519
How'd you find out? Did you call or did they email you?
I emailed them a few days ago to change my check-out day to Sunday and the updated reservation had a room number included. I'm sure if you email or call them they'll provide it.
Actually I realized that my original confirmation email from May 22nd says room 515. That was before I emailed and clarified that I wanted mountainside. So I am not sure if that is still accurate or not.

BUTTTTTTTTT the new confirmation has a new price!!! It said $324.12 for four nights before, the confirmation now says $417.36! I have emailed her back again.

Okay well that's not my room number, it was the one for the old reservation. They said they won't know till we get there what our room number is but I did request one over looking the mountains so fingers crossed!

If I remember correctly, the first few people who booked got it at a slightly lesser price than people who waited even a few weeks. Maybe I booked a little earlier than you? But you'd think that they shouldn't be changing the initial people's bookings.
Hopefully we can make them roll it back! It's not even the money itself, but the concept of it. We have confirmations of the charge per night and they shouldn't be able to change that.

Hm I just noticed the same rate discrepancy with my reservation. Its still a pretty decent price split two ways, but let me know if you guys have any success reverting back to the old rate. Much rather spend that $ on beer and...well, beer!
The lady said it was an error in their e-mail form and they won't honor it, that the screen that popped up after I ordered the room on their site had the right rate but the e-mail was wrong.
383 for 3 nights? Damn I'm paying $325 for 4 nights.
That's what my original confirmation said. Unless they succumb, you, me, Tronik, Zapp and whomever else got the cheaper prices will be paying more- 417 for four nights.

Gah, that place is so shady and terrible. My former roommate used to work there and he was always complaining about the conditions for workers and occupants. It used to be a Days Inn before it became too crappy for even Days Inn to want their name associated with it. The same ogre still manages it. One of my friend's duties there was to periodically call a few other area hotels to make sure they were all jacking up their rates by the same % for big events (like Moogfest). Maybe some of those calls occurred after y'all booked. I would fight it hard if I were you.

I just checked my confirmation email, and my room was reserved at the $127 rate. I reserved it on May 22nd. It's probably worth arguing if you have a confirmation email you can print out, but I wouldn't count on getting it changed. The email form just hadn't been updated.....I'm pretty positive the rates were never actually below $100 on the website. I was keeping tabs on rates and availability for at least a couple of months before I booked, and I remember that the prices were always higher than the $110 that I paid last year.
I just called DTI and spoke with a lovely lady named Abby - just to confirm that me and the sang's and the siggy's room was there. It is. But Sang - Mrs. Sang had FB'ed me to tell me the rates had changed - maybe that isnt so if everyone else is able to go with what their original confirmation email says. So can you email me a copy of that original conf? Then I'll print it and have it when I check in.... Juuuuuuust innnnn caaaaase.

okay so 81 was for a week night and it still is so we get that night at 81, weekend nights are 120 each. I think someone said it before but the page glitched and just charged 81 for each night. I'm not too mad cause i know there are different rates for week nights vs weekends but still. No call or anything though she said someone was suppose to call and say the rates were wrong.

She told me they e-mailed. The manager wasn't there when I called, but I'm gonna call back tomorrow when she's there between 9 and 5. They're nuts if they think they can charge more than what they confirmed at. It's not even the extra money, it's the principle. I get that it was an error in the system, but it's THEIR mistake.
As cool as it would be to be in the same hotel as you guys, I'm glad I'm not dealing with their bogus pricing structure. Hope everyone gets it sorted out fairly.
