Seems like Rocky Horror is tailor made for the gay meetup this year. Only caveat is that I don't want to waste half of my thur waiting in line. But if I do go, I'll def be in costume.

Anything at the Cinema or Comedy theater makes meetups difficult since they have capacity limits, but, I agree, it's definitely the gayest thing on the farm this year.

I'm gonna say Empire of the Sun is the second gayest. Maybe we can get a meet-up for that show.
I've recently started coming out/starting to figure myself out. So I'm not too sure where I'm going to end up.
It would be pretty awesome to get to meet some new people and just talk. Seeing as I have no real idea what it means to be LGBT...
Welcome to the family! It may be a difficulty journey ahead of you, but I promise it's one worth trekking! I get what you mean about the "what it means to be LGBT" thing, when I first came out I spent a good year, at least, thinking I had some new role(s) to play. When in reality, it was at that time that I didn't have to "play" any roles, I had already been doing that, at varying degrees of success, for 20 years. It's a very confusing time. You'll figure it out, though. The last 5 years out have been fantastic and I only wish I had done it sooner.
To me personally being in was way more stressful than being out. I was not happy with my life becuase i felt i couldnt be who i really was. My family and friends were very supportive when i decided to come out at 18. I have had ups and downs but never regret coming out of the closet. Best decision i have ever made. Good luck to you. You will find true happiness trust me.

Just decided to return to Roo for the 4th year in a row. I don't know if anything will ever top the meetup during the Scissor Sisters in 2011. That was an absolute blast! Roo is my going away weekend before leaving for the Navy in late-June so I'd love to see a big meetup/party this year!
