Guys!!! So my Jim James saga continues. As fate(?) would have it Jim James came to my school last night. Daniel Martin Moore was playing a concert there and Jim came. I got a chance to talk to him afterward. He wasn't very conversational, but I did bring up his summer touring plans, in particularly festivals. He said he couldn't reveal any details, but to keep an eye out because he is going to be all over the place. Doesn't answer anything, but it's better than a flat out no I guess.

This BETTER happen! I know Bonnaroo didn't get Jack White last year, but they MUST get Jim James. MUST! He needs a 2 hour+ set to perform his album, MMJ songs, covers and include special guests. Maybe...just maybe...Bonnaroo could be really awesome and give him a late night tent like Eugene Hutz had in 2011!

As you can see....the time from December 2nd until now has driven me crazy. Also keep in mind I saw 3 amazing MMJ shows at the end of December. So I've gone and gotten my hopes up. I think news of his first shows and tour has helped that.
If he's not at Roo this year I will be disappointed just like last year with Jack White. And it'll be all my fault lol

Jim is number one on my wishlist. A Jim James superjam sounds incredible. There are so many options there and his musical tastes are so diverse. I love MMJ, but his stuff away from the band is always fun too. I saw him in Lexington on the Appalachian Voices tour with Daniel Martin Moore and Ben Sollee and it was incredible. Also, the monsters of folk stuff is great. Tons of potential

Holy sh*t guys can you imagine if Jim James came to the inforoo brunch? Obviously it'd never happen but still...that'd top The Capp Dogg at the Moog brunch.
