I actually enjoyed the music -- a lot. Those bands just fit real well in the foothills.
My advice would be to figure out a better plan with logistics. The alpha lot/baggage check was insane. And when you arrive on Thursday, you shouldn't feel like there are zero spots left to camp. It was depressing trying to find a spot after waiting 7 hrs to get in.
I don't know if it means less tickets - but I would've paid a bit more if it meant quicker shuttles, better logistics and more camping area.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves despite the waiting and the mud.
anyone want to split a VIP package and save a little dough? i will not need the included tent tag (i have a car/hammock setup) but will need the included parking pass. $600 each (vs. 775 single ticket). let me know!
Gotta see how/if this fits into our summer.
