LOL - Spin took the expanded poster and announced it as a day by day schedule, rather than realizing it's a descending order of three sets of artists:

The Man, Miguel, Dinosaur Jr., Holy Ghost!, Japandroids, Twin Shadow, Divine Fits, Alt-J, Deerhunter, the Vaccines, Polica, and Steel Pulse.
June 9: Dillon Francis, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Paper Diamond, quacked Up, Wild Nothing, Icona Pop, the Knocks, Haim, St. Lucia, Freddie Gibbs, GRiZ, Robert DeLong, MS MR, Reignwolf, Solid Gold, Bear Mountain, Swear & Shake, Cherub, Pacific Air, the Revivalists, Roadkill Ghost Choir, ON AN ON, Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics, and Moon Hooch.
THIS LINEUP IS AMAZING. Perfect timing, Tom. I was about to say that I plan to be there on the 7th and 9th as I have that Saturday wedding in Long Island. It's nice to have the day by day. (Not the day by day- oh well). Reeeeeally sucks that I have to miss that monster of a Saturday!! Like I've said before, I'm working on my cousins, but if that fails, I might try to steal the company of one of you!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Last year Fiona Apple was added late because she had an NYC show in April and didn't want the fest to effect sales of that... So I'd say look up who has a big NYC show a few months prior to the fest.

Nah, not Mumford and Sons. The bottom left that's exposed as well as the top right don't look much like that. The "N" for sons looks curved instead of straight like the other N's on the poster. And the second letter doesn't look like a "U".
Last year instead of the crossed out name, they had question marks.. And the number of question marks was the number of letters in the artists name, which lead to alot of debate over whether the mystery headliner was Kid Cudi or Justice... Kinda wish they had done that again =/

I'm pretty sure the actual artist isn't under the blocked-out thing. It looks like just a bunch of question marks.
And the crossed out one, I almost think it doesn’t actually say anything yet. It almost looks like it is an upside down “U” over and over. Not sure what letter it would really be. It’s too repetitive on both sides of the black out. EDIT: Question marks totally make sense.

If you type in Daft Punk using the url for other band names, it takes you to a dead page, but interestingly changes the words "daft-punk" to "yeah-yeah- yeahs".
Hmm.
Edit: Nevermind - if you type Morrissey, it changes the name to Iggy Pop.

It's a block over a bunch of ?????????????. The third headliner isn't booked. Why on earth would they wait to announce it if it was?
I'm sure the third headliner is booked.. They probably just can't announce it yet because of another NYC show.. Or they'll just wait till ticket sales start lagging and then roll that sucker out.

Mumford has back-to-back shows in February at the Barclay's, I believe.
They are already sold out....so I doubt they are holding off for ticket sales.
The National has a show at Barclays too.. Muse has four shows coming up as well.... Who knows.. I doubt the spot isn't booked yet, because why announce theirs a mystery headliner if you don't know who its going to be? They could have easily just said Nas is headlining a night or Pretty Lights (who headlined the first GBall)

You realize that's just a row of question marks under that black mark, right?
No, at first I didn't as you can see by 40 people pointing it out. I didn't know they did question marks last year and I didn't assume they were question marks because why would they put a black bar over question marks? Seems redundant...why not just use the question marks?
